DU'AA TO READ BEFORE SLEEPING:
Allahumma bismika amoothu wa ahyaa.
MEANING:
Oh Allah, I die by remembering your name and gained life.
DU'AA FOR INCREASE IN KNOWLEGE;
Rabbee Zidnee ilma.
MEANING:
My Lord! Increase me in knowledge.
DU'AA TO READ AFTER WAKING UP:
Alhamdu lilla hil-lazee-Ahyana bada ma amatana wa ilaihin nushur.
MEANING:
All praises to Allah, who gave us life after death and we will have to go back to him (Allah).
DU'AA FOR ENTERING TOILET: Allaahumma innee auoozubika Minal khubusi wal khabaais.
MEANING:
Oh Allah, I am seeking your help to keep me from the bad activities of male and female.
DU'AA FOR LEAVING TOILET: Gufraanaka Alhamdu lillahil lazee. Azhaba annil azaa wa aafaanee.
MEANING:
Oh Allah, I am seeking your mercy and also praising that you have given me peace by getting out the painful and impure things from my stomach.
DU'AA WHEN LEAVING HOME:
Bismillahi Tawakkaltu Alal llahi wa la hawla wala quata illah Billah.
MEANING:
In the name of Allah, I have put my trust in Allah, and there is no power and no right except with Allah.
DU'AA FOR TRAVELLING:
Subhaanal lazee sakhkhara lanaa haazaa-Wamaa kunnaa lahoo muqh rineen. Wa inna ilaa rabbinaa lamunqaliboon.
MEANING:
All praises to Allah, who has given us oppurtunity to undertake this journey, so it was beyond our power and we are certainly going back to our Lord.
DU'AA FOR LOOKING IN THE MIRROR (FACE):
Allaahumma antha Hassantha khalqee Fa hassin khuluqee.
MEANING:
Oh Allah, you have created me by giving decent shape, and also make my character good by your mercy.
DU'AA FOR HEARING A DEATH MESSAGE:
In-naa lil-laa-hi wa in-naa ilaihi raji-uoon.
MEANING:
We do everything for Allah, and we must return to him
(Note: Only for a dead 'Muslim' person)
