—Competition day—
*Erika POV*
I woke up in the morning and started getting ready for competition. I only had to do my solo which was good. It was 9:00am and I let Jacob sleep in. I laid my costume for my solo on his bed because he was in mine and I started washing my face, preparing it for makeup. By the time I was done my makeup it was almost 10:00am. My solo started at 12:00pm so I had to be there at 11:00am.
Jacob woke up.
"Hello beautiful" he said.
"Good morning bae" I replied.
I packed my costume because I was going to put it on at the auditorium so Jacob and I got dressed and made our way to breakfast. We couldn't stay long because we had to be there soon so we ordered something small.
After breakfast we went back up to our room and got everything I needed. Luckily the auditorium was within walking distance. The competition started at noon so I needed to be there an hour early to practice and to get myself mentally prepared.
—12:00pm—
The show starts, there's a bunch of people and the judges were writing things down. I saw Jacob in the audience, right in the front row.
The music started and I did my solo. I thought I did pretty good, hopefully I get a good score!
After everyone did their solos it was time for the results. I could hear my team backstage chanting. "GO ERIKA! GO ERIKA!"
"3rd place is..."
They called the persons name. It wasn't mine.
"2nd place is..."
They called the other persons name. I was starting to get worried I wouldn't place.
"1st place is... Erika!"
THEY SAID MY NAME! I WON FIRST PLACE!
I saw Jacob in the audience give me a standing ovation.
"Wooh! that's my girl!" I heard him shout.
He started running over to me to give me a hug, so I ran over to him. I jumped in his arms and he gave me a great big hug!
"Awwwwwwwwwwh" I heard my friends backstage yell.
*Jacob POV*
I ran over to Erika and gave her a great big hug!
SHE WON FIRST PLACE!
I could tell she was really happy, she had a huge smile on her face. Her smile made me smile, she lights up my world. (😌)
*Erika POV*
I had to go backstage to take off my costume and pack everything up so I told Jacob to wait in the hall. It took around 5 minutes so I was going to apologize for the wait.
Then my dance team came over and gave me a hug.
"CONGRATS!" they all said.
"Thanks guys!"
They all followed me to the door. I was ready to go back to the hotel and relax, maybe get supper because I was hungry and it was already 4:00pm. I went out to the the hall and saw Jacob across from me holding a big bouquet of flowers.
*Jacob POV*
Erika came out and I was waiting with a big bouquet of flowers. She did amazing and I needed to surprise her with something. The look on her face was so cute, I could tell she was really happy.
*Erika POV*
I saw Jacob with the flowers and I starting smiling instantly. I ran up to him and gave him a hug. I kissed his cheek because there was a lot of people outside and it would be kinda weird if they saw us kissing on the lips.
"Awhhhhh" I heard my friends all say.
"Bye guys." I waved.
Jacob and I walked to the hotel and went up to our room. I placed the flowers in a vase on my bedside table.
I thanked him for the flowers and gave him another hug.

sorry if this chapter was kinda boring. I think I'm gonna skip till the end of competition because it's just gonna be really boring.
