it had been about 17 minutes into the game(exactly) and he had already developed his winning strategy. in the boy's eyes she seemed like a naive girl who thought she could play against a champion, not that the 7 year old was bragging. she moved her last fatal move and he, like he predicted, won.

"checkmate." he announced unamused by the short game. his gaze finally fell upon the little girl and she seemed quite upset by the outcome.

"what?" she crossed her arms "but I always beat daddy, and tony too! you cheated, I want a rematch!" the child demanded. Although her stubbornness did not seem threatening, her sore loser like attitude ticked the boy off and he rolled his eyes as the girl complained.

"no I didn't, maybe your dad and tony just let you win. I won fair and square, thanks for the match but this game is done." he picked himself up from his seat and began to walk away. it wasn't till two seconds after getting up that he heard a high pitched voice call out.
"hey! my daddy does not let me win, if you don't believe that than play again!" she shouted, may I remind you there was no reason to shout considering he walked like seven feet from her.

this challenge did not affect him at all whatsoever, but her voice did. something about that stubborn little girl with the green satchel brought him back for a second match.
