Time to remember(Caleb)

"What do you thing of life?" The man sitting on the interrogation desk asks with a smirk.

"Its cool I guess. It could go better."

"Do you have any siblings?"

"When did you meet Angeline" He asks again.

"Whenever I did, I guess. She is a little girl and I feel bad for what happened."

"How did you meet her?" I really didn't want to relive this crisis.

" I guess it was back when school was about to start" Here we go again.

It was a normal summer. Cleaning up the back yard, working on my truck, Hanging up the laundry, the usual chores. It was hot outside today as I was mowing the yard, I turned around and saw my best buddy Jace. He was walking out from his car. He was wearing his favorite Star Wars shirt and a pair of jeans.

"Hey buddy what's up."  he looks at me all gloomy. I bet you I can guess what's up.

"awe, Nothin. Just the us- you know finding someone then all they want me for is for my freaken looks." He was mad. I could tell. his eyes become a dark blue when he's angry. she must of been horrible.

Come on in. my grandparents loved you last time. They think your quite the charmer." I say sarcastically. Jace was the ultimate hit when it came to parents (or girls, but that wasn't the point.). They always  loved him for being funny and the true jokester.

We walked inside my crud house and saw my grandma who looked totally beat. She looks like she's gonna pass out. She has her hat on like usual and walking around slowly. It pains me to see her so ill. She needs to sit down. "Grandma JACE IS HERE" I shout. Its not that she is deaf its just that... I feel like she isn't able to hear me.

"hmm? Oh. Its that boy that reminds me of prince charming. Have I ever told you of the  true story of Cinderella?" she was always going off and talking about her stories. Jade and I practically grew up together. So we've herd them all a million times. Whatever makes her happy though. "Papa is in the living room now. Just holler if you need us. " she's trying to keep up with the "teen way" she always says that.

"Alright grandma well be in my room." she waved her hand back saying to go have fun. I walked into my clean room. I have to have my room clean or my papa gets frustrated. Jake sits on my bed and lays there like he's done with the world. I guess love isn't easy. Ive never fallen in love because I don't want it. I need to help my grandparents and keep them on their feet. Having a job would help but until then. I look up to see Jake texting someone. He laughed a little. "Dude, what's up. Your scaren me." he looks up and looks at me as if he just realized I was hear. Hmmm.

"talking to Skylar I guess." them two are so obvious. I feel like they were meant to be, they just don't see each other like that. As soon as I sit down I get a text.

Its from my mom. I ignore it. "so, what you wanna do. We can get out the old Xbox and play some world of combat or whatever you want. " he looks at me like I'm stupid. "its all about God of war get it right buddy." okay then. I get out the disk and put it in as I get it all set up I get another text. I look down at my phone and blow it off. I wasn't even going to worry about it. Jade put down his phone and set up his controller. I looked down at my phone once more then turned it off.

"lets have fun no girls okay bubby." we both laughed and started playing our game.
