"Jarvis, where are we going?" Tony asked and flexed his iron man glove.
"Berlin Germany, sir." He replied and the jet went noticeably faster and soon they reached Berlin.
"Ok guys, we need to be very quiet so we can catch them by surprise-or not." Steve said as the back of the jet opened. Hundreds, maybe thousands of soldiers were lined up outside of the jet, ready to fire. Loki led them all with a smirk on his face.
"Bruce..." Tony was rarely surprised and nervous, but this caught everyone by surprise.
"I'm already on it." Bruce began to breath quickly, getting his heart rate to race. His eyes flashed green, and Tony was glad they brought Bruce along for the big guy.
Everyone got in a fighting position, and Loki laughed. "How could you possibly think that you could defeat and my army?" He sneered.
"Together."
All of them answered together, and someone shot at Steve and the fight began. Hulk let out a loud roar and jumped into action. Multiple soldiers started to shoot and hulk pushed a lot of them away.
Thor and Loki started to fight each other, and everyone else started to fight multiple soldiers. Hulk looked back to spot Natasha and felt an emotion that he didn't feel often. He felt immense panic as he saw a grenade by her feet. No one noticed it, so hulk pushed her away quickly and covered the bomb with his body. It exploded and time felt like it was in slow motion.
Natasha turned to see Hulk with glazed over eyes. Something was in that bomb, something deadly and soon the Incredible Hulk didn't seem so Incredible. Green blood fell from open wounds. "BRUCE!" she yelled and ran to him, dodging her attackers.
Hulk swayed and started to change back, quicker than ever before. Natasha caught him before he collapsed onto his face, tears collecting in her eyes. Bruce had a gaping wound in his chest, and it didn't look good. He was loosing blood too quickly and the whole team including Bruce knew he probably wouldn't make it out of this one.
"No no no no Bruce! Stay awake darling, please!" She begged and held his head tightly. He gave a weak smile and looked her in the eyes.
"Natasha Romanoff, I love you..."
"BRUCE! Stop, you're scaring me! You can make it out of this, STAY WITH ME!" she started to sob and the rest of the Avengers circled around them and protected them. He cupped her cheek with his hand and wiped her tears with his thumb, gently bringing her face down to his. He kissed her gently with his last breath. He wanted we to know how much he loved her, how he would give his last breath up to her.
She realized that she was gone and started to shake his limp body. "Bruce, WAKE UP!"
