When he spoke those words, time seemed to almost stop. He's kidding right? I thought. He had a grin on his face and looked at me pretty seriously. " Wait you're kidding right?" I asked still in shock. He uttered one word " Yes." I was amazed.

I couldn't think of anything to say back. I had trained for so long and this moment just felt so calm. Like I was just strolling down the street with a friend. He looked at me and said "Now leave. It's obvious your village needs you."

"Wait how do you know about that?" I quickly asked. "I have my ways." He replied. I felt like he was hiding something from me, but that didn't matter right now because he was right. My village, my family and my friends probably thought I was dead or not coming back home.

So I started heading to the main road. I was only walking and yet I felt faster. It almost felt like I'd been pumped up with a magic. Although there was one last thing I asked the chief before leaving. "Can I learn magic?" He responded with a very wise saying I should've acknowledged way earlier.

He said to me "We all walk our own paths. The path of magic takes years of dedication and much will, but it is your path to choose." I ignored his wisdom. I didn't know what he meant so there was no point in acknowledging it.

When I was walking away from the camp 2 men with a tattoo that marked the clan lightning wood were dashing by. They were in a rush but weren't going very fast. They seemed to be in no hurry at all, but at the same time rushing.

One of them was a tech user and the other one a heavy weapons user. How ever when I saw a few more groups pass by I knew something was going on. So I stopped one them and asked "Why are there so many of you going in the same direction?" He replied with two words and then took off "Black wolves."

When he he was gone I thought about those words. I didn't have much to worry about since the ones I stayed with were white. However a frequently used term for Talius Wolves was Black Wolves because of what some of them do with their power.

I was temped to go back to the wolf camp to see if they were ok but I thought of what they could do and I was torn. This was the chiefs wisdom. I had to choose a path, ignore that what was basically my family could be in mortal danger or go back to make sure.

I started dashing back to the camp. I heard a snarl from the opposite side of the road. When they said 'Black Wolves' they literally meant black wolves! Four of them all with the same purple mark on their eye.

It was some sort of accent mark that had been engraved into their fur. Every step closer they took to me the faster my heart would beat. I couldn't tell if they were just intimidating me or just looking for their next meal. They rasped something amongst each other.

I couldn't understand what they were saying. They looked at me like I just murdered everyone and everything they know and love. One more wolf came through the bushes... but this one was different. It had a brown fur and the same mark but instead of being purple it was white.

This seemed odd. It seemed much more frail and weak. It must have been the beta of the wolves. A big  burley one came from behind it seeming much stronger than the wolves in front of me. IT must've been the alpha of the pack.

It looked at the beta disappointed. The other four wolves looked at the beta and grinned as the alpha seemed to be lecturing it with it's eyes. They turned towards me and starting to crouch down. They were gonna pounce at me.

So I reacted with a fast blow to the first one. It was sprawled on the ground and the other wolves looked at it like it was dead. The three left looked at me with a glare full of hate and anger. The mark flashed with a bright purple and then they disappeared behind me.

One was going for a bite, the second one trying to slash at me and the last one trying to buck kick me. I quickly got out of the way of the bite but moved into the slash. My arm was bleeding as it was throbbing in pain.

It wasn't a deep gash but still painful. The third ones missed buck kick made him fall onto his stomach. The alpha was watching the fight and occasionally glancing at the brown wolf as if to make sure it was watching.

The black wolves' eye marks flashed again and they started to slash quickly at me. It was obvious I couldn't reason with them. Even if I spoke their language. Two of the quickly slashing paws hit me and sent me into a thorn bush.

I couldn't see straight. My eyelids started getting heavy. They closed and I was into a deep and relaxing sleep.

Everything felt so soft and my body was so heavy. The force against my body continued to multiply. I could barely walk. My feet felt like they were about to crack into pieces. I saw a man with a sword on his back walking towards a strange and large creature that was covered by a blinding light.

I woke with a very sharp pain in my head. I saw the the sun. It was a burn n my eyes that shined as bright as a mage brightening a cave. Where am I right now?  I thought to myself. I heard a crackle in the woods behind me.

I got up slowly to look behind me "Who's ther-" I was hit by a wooden board. I thought to myself Why can't I just get up and walk for a few seconds before getting knocked out by something?!

I woke up in the next hour or so. I had a headache from the board. I looked around very quickly to see if anything else wanted to knock me out.

There wasn't anyone in the room I woke up in. Just book shelves with nothing on them, a dresser that was completely empty and a door the was slightly cracked open. I got up out of the bed and walked to the door.

The hall was pitch black, except a small light at the end of the hall. "Hello?" I called out trying to see if anyone was there. There was no answer just the echo of my words going through a hall way. I heard footsteps and zipped to the doorway.

I reached behind me where I had kept my combat knife sheathed I gripped the hilt ready to attack any threat that may walk through those wooden doors. "Who's there?" I asked. A slender man walked into the room he wasn't to tall only about a foot taller than me.

He had a tattoo on his left shoulder that said 'Bandit of Wind'. It had a picture of a purple helmet in between the words Gravity and Knight. "Easy kid. No need to get all worked up." He said very calmly. His voice was soothing but also scruffy.

He had short hair and green eyes. He seemed some what intimidating but I felt as though I could beat him.

"Where am I?" I demanded.

"You're in Lightning Wood kid." I answered.
