Alicia in the MM 😌
Alicia
I was woken up to my mom moans to one of her many customers. I look up at the clock to see that it's past one.
I wish I don't have to live like this. With her my so call mom. By the way who treats me like shit. Who gets money but still decides to take mine.
My name is Alicia Jones. I'm 20 years old and I work at Waffle House. I still live with my mom in our two bed apartment in one of the roughest housing projects in Atlanta.
The one where all the drug dealers are located in so they will have an easy access to the drug addicts. I'm from Bankhead.
One just happens to be my mom. A lady who was once beautiful, intelligent and cared about me. Those were the good days.
All until her boyfriend at the time Tommy got my mom hooked onto crack. After she started dealing with crack she never looked back.
Every since my mom started crack my life has been hell. I never really had a mother growing up. I had my mom in my life. She just wasn't there. I'll see her and we wouldn't talk unless it's her calling me out of my name or begging for money.
My mom has become the type of person over the years to steal money. Only for her raging addiction for crack. All the money I have had saved up she had stolen it. My money. For drugs. Her constantly stealing from me is what keeping me in this hell hole of a home longer.
The moans had come to a hault. Which I guess my mother's guest has left. Now I might be able to get some rest for my busy day ahead of me tomorrow.

My alarm clock ringing woke me up. I got up and turn on the light only to see the light not coming on. I kinda expected it. I paid all of the other bills except for the lights.
With my paycheck already not being a lot I have to pay the bills. Which is something my no good mother should be doing but her money only goes towards her and crack.
All the money I have leftover from paying the bills I would come and hide it in my room. Only to find it gone once I come home from work. I always find new spots to put my money in but she always find it.
I got dress in my uniform and did my hair in a high ponytail and I was out the door. I have no car which leads me to riding the bus.
As I was coming up to the bustop the bus was coming. I spoke to the bus driver Jackson. Jackson has gotten used to seeing me every day getting on the bus. "Good morning Jackson." "Good morning Alicia."
Once I finish speaking to Jackson I got my card and swipe it through. I look up before moving to find a seat. A seat was open right in the middle and I walked over to the seat and plop down.
I look out the window to see that we are approaching Waffle House. I got my stuff and pull down the strip. I said goodbye to Jackson. I started walking to my job. I open the door to see that we were very busy today. Which means a lot more tips. I need all of the tips I can possibly get.
Work for me was coming in pretty fast. It was after three and I have to work until eight. As the day came to an end business was slowing down. I didn't worry though. For some reason Waffle House always be packed when the sun goes down.
I counted my tips and so far I had sixty dollars. I still had five more hours to work so I can still get some more tips. As I was waiting on my customer I hear door bell ring which signals that somebody is coming in.
