One Direction received the Best British Video award at the BRIT Awards 2016 for the third year in a row.

Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson proudly collected the prize in the absence of their bandmates Harry Styles and Niall Horan, posing with their award.

They couldn't contain their excitement after being honoured in the fan-voted category for their Drag Me Down music video.

It's their sixth Brit Award in their five-year history and their third time winning that award.

Starting off the speech, Louis said: 'It really is times like these that prove to us we have the best fans in the world. This award is for you.'

Liam added: 'We've been enjoying our break. Thank you, lots of love.'

They were also nominated for British Group at the awards, but lost to Coldplay.
