Liam Payne has signed a solo deal with Capitol Records UK and will soon be entering the studio to record his first album. Liam excitedly revealed the news through his Twitter account on Thursday, July 21.
"Capitol Records has an amazing history stretching right back before even Frank Sinatra and I'm really looking forward to becoming part of their story," Liam said in a statement. "One Direction will always be my family; I'm now excited to show what I can do as a solo artist."
The news release also notes that Liam has "assembled a brand new management team around him," with more details to come.
Meanwhile last night Louis appeared on America's Got Talent as a guest judge!!
