Beyond what you see

Wallys pov
It feels like forever since I've seen the team. I guess being kidnapped and in a healing coma doesn't leave much time. I hope their all doing well, at least better than me.
  I thought being gone for a while would take attention off me, but instead it gave me more.
  I know what your thinking, 'kid flash can't fight back against his father or a couple bulliez??' Yeah well at school I'm Wally West. With my Dad, well he was my dad.
  My mom thinks everything is fine, shes happy, thinks I'm happy. To her I am. I make sure I'm happy around her. No matter the day I've had, or how tired I am.
 
The alarm clock on the side of my bed beeps and vibrates loudly. I groan as I reach over and hit the top, 
  "Good morning Wallace. Another weekend over, a new weeks begun!" My mom says cheerily.
  I look at my doorway, my mother already ready for work with a bright smile.
  "Mhm. Morning." I mumble.
I roll out of bed and land on the floor with a thud.
  "I have a guest coming tonight... when you get home think you can clean the place up?" My mom asks timidly.
  I look up at her,
"Yeah of course." I reply.
  She smiles,
"Thank you sweety. Come on get ready!"

I watch my moms car leave the parking lot before taking a deep breath. 'Hear we go'

Artemis pov
  The dredded school. I really hate it. So I'm a scholarship student, why is that so bad?? So I'm 'weird', why do they care?? Stupid prissy rich girls. Them and their boyfriends think they 'rule the school'.
  "Arty Farty." Says a high pitched, nerve wracking, sing song voice.
  I groan inwardly and turn towards the oncoming harrasers. I had almost made it to my locker, so close, so far.

Richards pov
  "Wheres my homework dweeb??"
"I told you. I. Don't. Do. Others. Homework." I say slowly so he'll understand (not likely)
    "Still haven't learned your lesson?? We can fix that now can't we?"

"Artemis Crock to the main office. Richard Grayson to the main office." The voice says over the enter comm.

"Lucky this time. We'll pick this up later."

Mount Justice

"Feels like forever. I'm whelmed." I say as we enter the mt.

"Hello Robin. Artemis. Good to see you my friends." Kaldur says.
  "And you dude. How was Atlantis?" I ask
"Very Enjoyable. Thank you. How have you two been?"
   "Same old." I reply
"Wonderful." Artemis says. Her voice sarcastic.
She smiles slightly at Kaldur before walking off.
The smell of cookies hits my nose and I grin, not burnt.
  Kaldur follows me as we enter the kitchen. M'gann, Conner and Artemis stand around the island already eating cookies.
  "Hey Guys! Have a cookie. I've been getting better!" Mgann says excitedly.

"Arriving Kid Flash b03"

We enter the main room to meet him.

Wally enters moments later, face scrunched in concentration.
  "Yo kf! You okay?" I ask
He looks up, startled,
"What? Oh yeah. Sorry." He says.
   "Wally! Its been so long!" M'gann flies into the room and hugs him tightly.
"Hey miss m, I know my bad." He says with a lopsided grin.
  "Hello my friend, it is good to see you."
"You too Kaldur. Hey Soops! What up Arty!"
   A grunt of agknowledgment from Conner and a scowl from Artemis,
  "Don't call me Arty."
With a wince Wally changes the subject quickly,
  "Cookies smell delicious. I'm starved!"
  I watch with a keen eye, examining everyones behaviors. While Aqualad, M'gann and Conner seem pretty okay, Artemis and Wally seem tense. Its definitely been a while...
  We enter the kitchen once more to devour the delicious cookies, before Artemis speaks.
"Is anyone else wondering why we were called here so suddenly?"
  "To have a discussion." A monotone voice informs.
We all jump, Batman suddenly in the doorway.
"You've been hanging out with Agent A." I state.
  Batman simply turns and heads towards the conference room. Although I thought I caught a ghost of a grin appear for a split mila second.

3rd person
  "Although this team is still suspended. The league decided it would still be best if you all trained together still. We also decided to inact some counciling sessions." Batman informs.
  Robin, Artemis, and Wally wince inwardly. They don't want to talk about anything, they know the counciling is mostly for them due to the incident.
  "It doesn't explain why you called us hear so suddenly. Not that I'm complaining." Robin says
"Your bodies will use the day to get back into shape. Tomorrow you will all report here after school and start your regular training schedules. Any more questions?"
  The tone in Batmans voice warns the team hes not in the mood to answer any more.
  "Good. Now get to work." He exits. Leaving the team alone.

You could tell everyone's minds were somewhere else. Wally kept glancing at the time, his head not in the game. In fact the rest of the team started to notice their three teammates were distracted.
  "This is a sad sight." A voice says.

Roy enters the training room, sunglasses on with his civvies. The team stops their training,
  "Hello Roy. What brings you hear?" Kaldur asks
  "Checking in on you guys." Roy answers Simply.

Wally looks at his watch,
  "Well. It was nice seeing everyone again. I gotta go. See ya later."

He leaves the room in a blur,
  "Whats his hurry."

Wallys pov
I clean the whole house. Every last inch. Then head into my room to complete not only my homework but five other peoples as well.
  I sigh in annoyance, this training is going to mess with my 'schedule'. Beat up after school, clean, eat, homework, and two hours sleep if I'm lucky. All because of stupid idiots that won't do the work, but want to stay on their team. Its ridiculous!
  "Wally I'm home!" My mom calls.
I shake my head, and put on a smile as I head down stairs.
I immediately head into the kitchen, knowing thats where she goes. Shes not alone this time though.
  "Oh Wally! I'd like you to meet Tristan."
The man is tall, probably almost six foot. He has dark brown hair, and a short beard. He wears jeans and a navy blue button up shirt. He smiles at me and extends his hand,
  "Nice to meet you. Your mother is a wonderful women. She talks about you a lot." He says.
  "Funny. She hasn't mentioned you." I say as I shake his hand.
  "Be nice. I was worried is all. Now set the table, we brought Chinese."

A/N
Shorter chapter. I figured the first should just be an introduction on whats gonna happen. In the first book I mentioned I needed characters, that offer still stands. Otherwise I'll just have to make some people up. Thanks for reading! Byyee
