"In Los Angeles this evening at approximately 6:35pm, rapper Eazy-E has died after losing his battle with AIDS. The rapper received more than 100 per calls per hour. He was the founder of Ruthless Records, rap group N.W.A. and is nicknamed the Godfather of gangsta rap. Wright was 30 years old."

"We're here live at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with Eazy-E's wife Aaliyah Wright. Is there something you want to say on behalf of your husband?" the interviewer asked.

"I hate that my husband's life was cut short. AIDS is a horrible disease and I pray that there will be a cure one day. I just hope that Eric's death will be a lesson for everyone. Use a condom. Get tested. Know your status. Thanks for all of your support guys. This has been a very rough time for me."

"Thank you so much Mrs. Wright and we will continue to pray for you and your family. We have Eazy-E's lawyer Ron Sweeney here with us as well."

-Aaliyah's POV-

Eric and I are currently at the Santa Monica Pier. Walking on the beach, enjoying the beautiful view. This brings back so many memories. We got together right here at the pier back in 1990.

We held each other's hand while we continued to walk. We have California love.
I love this man with all of my heart. God knew what he was doing when he put us together.

"I love you baby. I know I fucked up. I hurt you so bad. But I apologize, forgive me."

"I love you too Eric. And thanks for apologizing. It takes a real man to do that.
You know I forgive you."

He grabbed my chin and gave me a soft kiss on the lips. All of a sudden, I fell backwards and landed on my back. He started to shake me.

"Baby wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"

"Mama wake up! Wake up! Wake up mom!" Dominick yelled while he tried to wake me up by shaking me.

"What is it Dom?" I asked still half sleepy.

"Mom did you forget? Today is the big day! The Straight Outta Compton movie premiere. Go get dressed. We need to be there in about three hours."

"How could I forget? Well thanks for waking me up."

Damn. It was just a dream but it felt so real.
I really thought that me and Eric were walking on the beach together. I miss him so much. This movie is going to do him justice. The world will finally know who Eazy-E was.

This is for you Eric. Rest in peace baby.
