Told me not to cry when you were gone but the feeling's overwhelming, it's much too strong

"Babe? What did the doctor say?" Demi asked as she walked in the hospital room. Demi stared at her husband who was laying on the bed. "Are you allowed to go home?"

Wilmer looked at her eyes and that moment she knew her whole world begun to shatter. Those 4 words knocked the living light out inside her body. It made her whole body feel so broken and weak. Demi felt like she couldn't move.

"I'm going to die."

Demi gasped as she had another dreams, it was really hard for her that day as she remember laughing with him that morning, planning the things that they were going to do once they get home but it never happened. He wasn't able to go home.

Demi slowly closed her eyes, wanting to sleep but an unwanted sobs ripped through out her mouth. She tugged her hair, crying.

"Wilmer." Demi whispered his name, it was like a kiss in the air. |She called his name out but never got a response. She released a broken chuckle when she would remembered how he will ignore her whener he's watching his shows and she would would just turn it off and wait for him to pay attention to her.

"Wilmer? what happened?"

"Demi, sweetheart." his voice were broken and he was crying.

"Tell me what happened, Wilmer? Please." Demi forced him to look at her. "To tell me the problem."

"You know, when I'm gone. I want you to be happy. To continue loving your life. Don't let this stop you for doing music. You hear me?" He said at her.

And it only made her cry even more. She curled in their bed, her hand reaching out for his body but instead she felt the untouched part of his side of the bed.

"I'm gonna die."  She swore that her heart skipped a beat.

"You're kidding, right?" She whispered. "No Wilmer, you will not die, okay? i'll make sure of it."

"You can't say that."

"Just promise me, that you'll never leave me."

Demi never left his side that day no matter how hard her parents forced her to go home, to take a bath and to eat but she never listened.

"I'll die, Wilmer." I shook my head, looking at him. "I'm nothing without you."

"You have you be strong, I know that you are strong." He wipe my tears with his thumb. "You have to be."

Wilmer? Can I lay by your side, next to you?
