I was positive it was him, even if he wasn’t in his school uniform, because his hair was the same. I was shocked! I didn’t thought he would race! A lot of people were around him to say congratulation. I still stood few meters from him, and I didn’t know what to do? Should I say hi or not? But Jared beat me to it. He was a part of the group, and when he saw me, he smiled and waved. I tried to smile, but I was to shocked to make a genuine smile. Jared started to walk towards me, with a big smile on his face. When he reached me he said

“What are you doing here?”

Not in a angry tone, like I would have thought, but in a happy tone. I tried to smile, and said the truth.

“I was in the neighborhood, and I saw the cars, so I thought it could be fun to see some street race, because I have only seen it in the TV”

He nodded and smiled once again. We were just looking at each other, so I didn’t see Mr. Browning come towards us, before he stood next to Jared. I started to blush, and looked down on my hands. He looked hot! But not a thing I should be thinking! He is my teacher! But I couldn’t stop my thoughts, and I thought about the kiss I gave him in detention, and it made me blush even more! Mr. Browning was looking at his brother, with a slightly angry face, I got a little scared, and would he be angry at me as well? I hoped not, but I couldn’t be sure. I looked at him, but he just smiled at me and said

“Hi Julie, what are you doing here?”

I told him the same I told Jared, only I also mention that I dropped Kara of at Rob’s. He nodded and gave me a smile, I loved his smile, but it also gave me a hard time of breathing, because he looked so good when he smiled, I couldn’t stop the blush, and I looked down on my hands again. I thought that I needed to say something, so I blurred out

“I’m not going to say anything!”

Jared started to laugh and Mr. Browning looked shocked, but started slowly to smile, like he needed to process what I had said. I blushed once more, and looked down, until I couldn’t feel the heat on my cheeks. It was embarrassing, but I somehow felt that they needed to know, or mostly Mr. Browning, but not like that! But Mr. Browning just smiled and said with a slightly laughter in his voice

“It’s good to know Julie”

I didn’t have the chance for replying, because I saw a known person, walk behind Mr. Browning and Jared. It was Zach! I felt that I needed to say something, so I walked pass them, and towards Zach. When I reached him, I stopped him, with putting a hand on his shoulder. It worked, because he turned around. And shock was written all over his face. I smiled at him, and said

“Hi! What are you doing here?”

He smiled, and said with humor

“Back at you, I’m a racer, so it’s normal for me to be here, but you? Is it the first time?”

I looked confused at him and started to ask

“How did you..?”

He just smiled and said

“You looked lost, and you are not the type that watch street racing. Look at the other girls and what they are wearing, and then look at yourself, then you will see what I mean.”

And then he left, I did what he told me to, and I could see what he mean. I was en jeans and a jacket, while the others were in shirts and a little t-shirt. I felt out of place, so I started to walk towards my car. It was not a place I would come again. Like Zach said, I didn’t fit in, and maybe I wouldn’t? He was right, I’m not that type of girl, but I didn’t thought I would be that type that kisses her teacher. But I did that too!
