Don't Move

"Son, don't do anything okay. Do not make any noise when you see Daddy close his eyes, got it?" Dad ordered me to do so.

He is kneeling in front of me telling me something I "should always do".

"Daddy is praying to God when you see him close his eyes. You wouldn't want Him to get mad at us for being noisy when we talk to Him." He said.

I don't really know what Dad was saying. I just told him okay and obeyed his order.

Now, Mom is carrying me and there is a rectangle-shaped thing in front of us that's being covered by a glass. It's large. I think I can put my toys there.

Mom walked us near the thing. I asked her, "Mom what's this called?"

"It's called coffin, darling." She answered sadly. I think she's crying.

Inside, I saw Dad lying down wearing a suit and... tie? I think that's what it's called.

He's closing his eyes.

I suddenly remembered what he said about when I see him close his eyes.

I immediately went still and didn't move a single motion.

I saw a few guys making the rectangle thing go down in the pit.

It's called "coffin" as Mom told me.

I still didn't move, though.
