The moment the blonde one shut the bathroom door I began looking around the room. If I was going to stay in a room with three guys then I deserved some idea as to who they were.

What the hell is a 'band meeting?' Were they a legit band? Nash and his friend didn't look familiar from the tabloids. Neither did that blond one.

Blondie didn't look too happy to see me. No surprise there; no one really looked forward to seeing me. I've always been the girl in the back of the classroom; the girl you forget about.

I had one friend growing up besides Jake, named Charlie. Charlie was my best friend all throughout high school. Neither of us went off to college; Charlie became a multimillionaire thanks to gambling and drug dealing. I think he owned a house in LA..

Wait. LA wasn't too far from here. Maybe he could take me in for a few days. I stopped talking to him because Jake didn't like him, but Charlie promised he'd always be there for me. He never broke his promises.

Feeling satisfied that I had figured out my next move, I started snooping around. Blondie left his phone out on the bed. iPhone. Basic. I pressed the home button and the screen lit up. It was a picture of him and a few others, including a blond girl on his lap. Must be his girlfriend.

The TV was on some movie channel, but it was currently running commercials, muted. There were two suitcases in the room, one on the table and the other open on the desk. I walked over and looked inside, assuming it belonged to the blonde one.

Damn. Blondie was a fashionista. He had a bunch of ripped denim, leather, and v necks. There were some muscle tanks and regular shirts in there too though. Were those bow ties in the corner? Classy.

You can tell a lot about a person from their suitcase. I shifted my backpack onto my left shoulder. There was no way this bag was leaving my sight.

I heard the bathroom door open and I shot away from the suitcase. Out came Nash, followed by his friend, then Blondie...and then another guy. Wearing nothing but a towel.

"Uhh...hey." He said, giving me a sheepish grin. "Let me go get pants and I'll be back." He ran into another other room.

Blondie stepped forward. "While Ian is getting dressed I should probably introduce myself properly. I missed the chance in the beginning because you caught me off guard...but I'm Ryan."

"Hey." I say, giving him a fake smile.

Towel man came back through the door, this time with clothes on.

"Sorry, wasn't expecting company," he said, walking right up to me. "I'm Ian Keggy" he extended his hand.

"Chloe." I said, giving him a handshake. He stepped away and the four of them stood in a line in front of me. I shifted my weight awkwardly, waiting for one of them to break the silence.

Nash finally did. "Well...I think we're gonna go hit the casinos. Gotta tear Vegas up while you can right?"

I shrugged my shoulders. I wasn't much of a gambler; mostly because I knew I couldn't afford to lose.

Nash's friend turned to them. "Yeah..you guys go ahead. I'll stay with Chloe."

Wait. What. The two of us? Alone?! No. Not cool. No. Every fiber in my body was screaming to run away, but my muscles wouldn't move. I stood there frozen watching them leave.

Nash's friend closed the door behind them and turned to me. He took a couple of steps away from the door when I found words.

"You touch me I throw you out that window."

He froze and put his hands up. "Hey sorry." He sat down on Blondie- I mean Ryan's- bed.

"You know, you never even introduced yourself." My inner bitch was coming out.

"Jamie." He looked at me.

"Chloe."

"I know." He smiled. I was about to smile back, but then caught myself. I still didn't trust him completely.

"Uh...You know," he began, "you can sit. On that." He pointed to the other bed, then quickly added "If you want. I mean standings cool too, I guess."

I sat down on the bed. Jeez, I'm socially awkward. It was going to be a longgg night.
