Chapter 3

Abby's POV

I managed to get out of bed that morning and decided to go to Niall's I really wanted to talk to him so I went down stairs and told my mom that I was going over to Sel's she automatically got very excited telling me that I was going to visit Harry. But my father told me that he was working today so that reminded me that Niall must be working as well. "Then I'll go down to the company and say hello there and surprise him" I could tell my dad was very happy that I'm with Harry.

"Oh Abby we still need to get you a dress" my mom squealed I must of had a obvious confused look on my face when she reminded me that I was indeed getting married and that the wedding was in two weeks. "TWO WEEKS?!" I asked rather shocked. My dad asked me if there was anything wrong with that in a rather sad tone but I reassured him that everything was fine that I was just surprised. It seemed to lighten up his mood again. I told them that I should get going and I walked out the door.

At the company

Abby's POV

I got to the company where Niall worked and I bumped into somebody by accident I said sorry then I realized who it was. "uhh hey" I awkwardly said.

"Abby what are you doing here?" Niall asked me.

"We need to talk"

"I don't have the time to talk to you" he told me as he walked to his office. I followed him and stood in the doorway,

"Look we need to okay? I want my bestfriend back Niall" he sat in his chair and motioned me to sit down as well. I smiled at him and sat I just looked at him hoping he'd say something back to me.

"I'm sorry" he told me as he let out a sigh.. he didn't even make eye contact with me.

Niall's POV

Here she was infront of me and I didn't even have the balls to look her in the eyes when I said I was sorry. She took my hand and smiled telling me she understood why I was mad that I just didn't want her to end up getting hurt again. Man if she only knew... "So the wedding is in two weeks?" I asked trying to change the subject. I saw her smile fade as she answered my question she couldn't keep doing this I told her to stop but she just would listen she just kept saying that she had to. Tears were forming in her eyes I knew she needed to be comforted.

"Come here" I told her and she came over and sat on my lap and let it all out. I just rubbed my hand up and down her back trying to comfort her after a while she sat back up and smiled at me thanking me.

Harry's POV

I walked into Niall's office because I need him to do something for me but then I saw them. I saw Abby sitting on his lap. I managed to stutter out her name only to get her smart remark of acknowledging the fact that I indeed know her name. I ignored it and then realized she was crying I walked over to her and asked her what was wrong I gently placed my hand on her cheek.

"Don't touch her!" my brother snapped as he pushed my hand off of her beautiful face. I looked at Abby tears forming in my eyes, if she had been crying because of me I.. I don't know what I'd do I asked her if it was my fault she was crying but she just looked down and stayed silent.

Abby's POV

There were tears in his eyes. Never had I ever seen tears in his eyes... I didn't want to hurt him by saying the truth so I just looked down and stayed silent. He touched my face once more telling me that I didn't need to marry him that he was going to talk to my dad he began to walk away.

"Finally" Niall called out extremely happy by this news. But I couldn't go thru with this.. "No" I said. They were both confused Niall was mostly pissed off screaming at me telling me this was my chance but Harry just looked happy all he did was smile he was quite satisfied with himself.

"Don't get your hopes up Harry I'm only marrying you for my family that's all" I told him. I could tell he didn't believe me by the tone of his voice but I couldn't help but smile back at him when he smiled at me.

"Do what you want" I heard Niall's voice in my ear I remembered that I was still on his lap. "You aren't mad right?" I asked him I didn't want to loose him once more. He told me he wasn't but I could tell he was he got up and left saying that he needed to get back to work he kissed my cheek and walked out of his office. I turned back to Harry telling him that I should get going as well but he yelled NO but then realized he didn't mean to yell and offered me some coffee. I rejected his offer telling him I needed to go get a dress. He offered to come but I reminded him that we weren't a real couple and left the building.

I walked into the coffee shop with Selena and we began to talk about things she asked me if Niall was still upset with me but I told her the great news that him and I were best friends again. Then I asked her about her love life but all I got from her was a smirk so I knew there was something going on there. I asked her tons of questions. Asking her who he was, if he was cute, if I knew him. She just laughed and told me to chill.

She told me it was Zayn.. Zayn why did that name sound familiar to me.. Then it hit me. "OHMYGOSH!! Is it that nerdy Zayn more exact the biggest nerd in the school Zayn?" I asked. She just laughed telling me how much he has changed and how hot he became. I just couldn't get the nerdy Zayn out of my mind. I just kept saying ewwww and I could tell she was getting quite annoyed with me but I didn't care she was my best friend and she had to put up with me.

We got back to Selena's and she invited me over for dinner I couldn't say no because honestly her mom is the best cook ever we walked in and Anne told me that Harry was up in his room and that Selena was to stay and help her with dinner. I volunteered to help as well because I didn't want to go up to Harry's room but once more Anne instructed me up to Harry's room reminding me that I was going to start cooking everyday soon enough..
