He was shocked a first but quickly kissed back. Only to pull apart when they were breathless.

"Does my Angel have name?" Christine asked out of the blue and breathless.

"Erik." He answered. "Erik Destlar."

He gingerly but passionately kissed her lips. "Erik," she said softly, letting the new name roll of her tongue. Erik smiled. "I'm so sorry. I should've stayed. I could've saved us both a lot of heartache."

Erik placed a finger over her quivering lips. "Your here now. But... Are you here to stay? With me forever?"

"Are you asking me to marry you?" Christine gazed deep into his eyes.

"It's not the most romantic thing," Erik smiled. "But yes, I think."

Christine smiled brightly, "Of course, Erik."

He claimed her lips with his own and pulled her closer to himself. Christine threw her arms around his neck as she desperately kissed back. Christine jumped up wrapping her legs around his waist. He carried her into bedroom and laid her on the bed. He quickly took off his jacket while she slipped off her shoes. Laying back down on the pillow she grabbed his collar, pulling him down with her. She attack his hungry lips with as much love and passion as she could muster. Pulling away he said, "Your cold."

Christine smiled, "You try finding the love of your life in freezing rain." His smile grew as he slipped her dress off. Revealing bruises, old and new, exposed. He looked back at Christine's eyes with many apologies. He kissed her jawline as his hands went down her arms. Christine closed her eyes in pure bliss as her fingers nimbly unbutton his shirt. Once his toned torso was visible Christine blushed but ran her hands up his soft skin.

Erik smiled at the small gesture and kisses her lips teasingly slow. Earning a groan from Christine. "Don't tease me, love." She whined as she helped him with her corset, leaving her in just get slip.

"Are you sure?" Erik asked suddenly becoming aware. Christine kissed him passionately again.

"I've never been more sure in my life, my love," Christine replied honestly.
