A growl rippled through Jane's throat as she tried to remove [Y/n]'s hand from the back of her head. With immense struggle. The angry [Y/n] barely kept her straight face as Jane struggled about, the fact that Jeff was now on his knees with tears pouring from his lidless eyes from laughter as well as everyone else chuckling to themselves, was not helping. [Y/n] slowly lifted her hand away and let the other fix herself, placing her hands up in a way of surrender she simply stated, "I think we got off on the wrong foot, so how about we start--" Her attempt of peace was cut of when a searing pain cut through the palm of her hand, opening her tearing eyes she looked at the large kitchen knife pushed through her left hand. Groaning slightly from pain, the injured girl glared harshly at the Jane, who was snickering.
An exasperated sigh left her lips, she slumped her shoulders the pain a simple dull sting, "If it's a fight you want," She said, in a simple and flat tone, hiding her excitement at the chance of testing her new weapon, "It's a fight you'll get." She said, in the same tone get this tie matched with a devilish smirk, using her right hand she pulled the knife out at a quick pace grunting at the uncomfortable feeling, she continued, "I believe we shouldn't fight in the dining room, however. Simply not polite. How about we take this outside." Her eyes flickered with amusement watching Jane's reaction change grim, obviously she was referring to the clear where she always won her fight yet Jane didn't know that, making her grim reaction all the more amusing.
After everyone's laughter had died down the annoyed sigh of Slender caught their attention, "Children, I don't think this is necessary." The two glaring girls snapped their attention to the tall man, "Of course it's necessary! I'm gonna' beat her ass!" They both snapped in harmony, causing their glares to return back to each other with warning growls. At nearly the same time both girls rushed to their bedroom to change, as usual [Y/n] slipped into her old fashioned hunting gear plus her beloved weapons, however, she also added in a strange contraption. It was made from a shiney metal, one that looked like copper and was fashioned in a diamond shape on each face, it had 3 slits around half a centimetre wide which let a dim blue light shine through; it fitted perfectly in her hand and inside pocket. This was her new weapon. With an evil grin she turned and began to walk to the clearing whistling a quiet tone.

Slender sat it the drawing room (or living room but he refused to change the 'proper' name) all alone, his expressionless face rested in his hands. He was worried, she was already pretty far gone.

She's not ready.

She couldn't complete it.

She couldn't face...

Him.

He was brought back to reality by the same girl he was troubled with, "Slendy, everything okay?" She asked calmly, her smile showing worry causing Slender to shake his head. "It's nothing, child." He said smoothly, but continued in a more assertive tone, "Promise me, [Y/n], do not use your powers." After his command, the small girl cocked her head in question, "Huh? Why not? I got to beat her ass!" She said loudly with a cocky tone.
"[Y/n], this is important. You must promise me." He said once again, his tone becoming more sharp, causing the girl in question to pout, "But Slender~ I have to, this is more impo--" Once again she was cut off, but there was no physical pain, just... shock.

"This is far more important than some petty fight. Do you understand? This is no longer a question, You WILL NOT use any of your supernatural ability!"

Slenders contorted voice made [Y/n] cover her ears in pain, his voice was that of a shout but mixed in with ear splitting static, "Ah! I understand! Stop Slender! Stop!" After a few seconds, the sound stopped, leaving them both in complete silence as [Y/n] straightened herself up and wiped the slight trickle of blood away from her ears. "I understand..." She whispered, unable to do anything else. Slender nodded, luckily he had no face so he could conceal his guilty face, "Run along to your fight. I expect a win." He said, a softer tone and a tap on the head, [Y/n] nodding at his small command and running to the clearing, damascus knife in hand and sheer determination.
She wasn't sure why she was not to use her powers.

But the way Slender spoke...

The way his voice trembled...

And the way his soul burned...

He was scared

Of her?

No. Not her.

Something else. Something worse. Something evil.
