Chapter Twenty: Announcement and Keito!
A New Member Of Fairy Tail
IN FAIRY TAIL
Everyone is Fairy Tail was crowded around the stage waiting for master to speak and tell us what was going on. Even Gildarts was here and its not often Gildarts is here for speeches.
"Hello everyone. I have two new things to address to all of you." Master announced.
"We're listening." We all replied full of curiosity.
"The first part is a new member. Everyone this is an old friends son, Keito Takiya." Master said while a boy apporoached him and the edge of the stage.
"H..hello everyone.." Keito mumbled. I must admit, the way he said hello was so adorable!
"Hello Keito!" We all greeted him full of kindness.
"What's the second part of the news?" I asked Master with curiosity.
"Be patient Melanie. The second part of the news is that we are attending The Grand Magic Games once again!" Master announced.
Everyone yelled with cheer as Keito smiled at me.
"So she's his little sister? Shes adorable anyway." Keito thought as everyone apporoached him with questions.
"What's your magic?" I asked while cutting through the line of people.
"I'm a Poison Devil Slayer. What magic do you have, Miss Ayame?" Keito asked me back.
"I'm an Elemental Mage as well as a Re-quipist." I replied with a smile.
"How old are you?" Romeo asked as he scratched his chin.
"I'm seventeen years old." Keito replied while tieing his shoes.
"Master?" I asked as Master stood back up on the stage.
"Yes, Melanie?" Master replied with a smile.
"What are you doing?"
"You'll see. Everyone gather around!" Master yelled as everyone crowded around the stage once more.
"As you know that we are going to The Grand Magic Games, we need a team to represent our guild and win that money and the number one spot for the most powerful guild. I have came to decision and know the five members that shall represent our guild and win for us." Master announced as everyone's curiosity level grew.
"What's the team?" Gray asked while yawning.
"The team that is representing us is, The Kaiser Twins, Haru Connell, Melanie Ayame and Keito Takiya!" Master yelled so all of us heard him, but if you ask me, he yelled a bit too loud.
"Us?!" We all reactived with surprise.
"Yes. Go get ready and meet us at the train tomorrow."
"Yes Master!"
AT MY APARTMENT
I packed my clothes and grabbed my crystal necklace of my bedside table.
My mother gave me this after Izle left..
"I miss you...Izle...please come back.." I sighed as tears fall from my eyes.
Izle Otakimash, my first crush and my first friend that I battled.
I snapped out of my thoughts as I heard a knock on my door.
I opened it and it was Erza.
"Hey Erza." I yawned as I stretched my arms.
"Hey Melanie, may I come in?" Erza asked with a smile.
"Sure!" I replied as I let her in.
We sat on my sofa as she faced me.
"Good luck at the games and be careful. There will be powerful wizards there." Erza warned me as I smiled at her.
My smile faded after she finished her sentance.
"Erza, I can handle myself. I'll be fine!" I reassure Erza as she smiled.
"I know. That's why I told Master to pick you, you did beat me after all."
"You asked Master if I could be on the team?"
"Yeah and there wasn't even a sign of hesitation. He must really like you Melanie."
"He must if he let me in without hesitation. I can't wait! It'll be so fun! I've never been to Crocus before, but my parents have." I replied while looking down, remembering about my parents.
"It will. I'm sure you'll beat them!" Erza laughed as I joined her in laughter.
"I will!"
"You will! I'm heading to get ready for watching the competition, night!"
"Night Erza!"
THE NEXT DAY
I woke up with a smile on my face. I raced to my bathroom, had a shower and got my new red dress on.
I heard a knock at the door. I ran and answered it and it was Master.
"Are you ready Melanie?" Master asked with a grin on his face.
I pulled my cases with my clothes in them and answered.
"Yeah! Let's go to Crocus!" I answered with a bright grin on my face.
"Okay!"
