Ch.6 Surprise

Jada P.O.V

--At the Penthouse

I got a call from my assistant talking about my restaurant. I told her I would meet her at the restaurant with the realtors. I did my hygiene and my make up. I put on a floral dress with a green belt. I threw on my white heels with the gold chains. Once I was about to walk out, I went by Jasmine room and saw her sleep.

"Jasmine ", I said waking her up.

"Hey",she said whispering it a little cause Carter was still sleep.

"I'm leaving, my assistant called and wanted me to meet her at the restaurant".

"Alright I'm going to take Carter shopping",she said kissing his head and rubbing him.

"Okay well I'm gone", I told her while getting up to walk out.

I got to the door and opened it and there he was. My husband, my man, my friend, my lover Jacquees. He picked me up and hugged and kissed on me.

"What are you doing here",I said cheesing so hard.

"I was so lonely at home I wanted to come and be with you",he said still holding me by my waist.

"We'll I'm heading out now",I said with my lip poked out.

"Jada who is that", Jasmine said coming around the corner with her robe on.

"Hey Jasmine", Jacquees said hugging her. Then out comes Carter in his pjs.

"Hey Uncle Que", he said while Jacquees picked him up.

"We'll I have a meeting to go to ill see you guys later, maybe dinner later", I said to everyone. They all agreed and I went to give Jacquees a kiss and I was gone.

--At the Restaurant with Porsha

I walked into the empty restaurant and saw my assistant talking withe the realtors. I went over and introduced myself and shook their hand.

"So we have a deal",they said to me.

"Okay", I said excited.

"We'll we want to know the idea of opening your restaurant", they said concerned

"We'll my style is southern but with a very cuisine look and taste", I said while having all eyes on me.

" And opening a restaurant here will expand my business and can get more customers and publicity here in New York", I said to them.

"Soo do we have a deal here", my assistant said to them.

"We'll congrats on the restaurant and good luck on the business", he said while shaking our hands and leaving.

I'm so excited I've won them over and have a place in New York. Porsha and I stood there just looking around and seeing what needed to be done. Luckily Porsha is so generous she would stay in New York to help me out, since I would be leaving tomorrow to get back to the one in LA.

--At Dinner

We were all at Red Rooster Harlem and we all enjoyed each others company. We all talked about the work and family it was going great.

"Soo I have great news everyone", I said looking at everyone.

"I'm now having a restaurant in New York, I've made it offical", I said and everyone congratulated me and made me feel special.

"Carter please stop using, your fingers and use the spoon for your ice cream", Jasmine said cleaning his fingers.

"We'll this was nice, but I'm sorry it has to end", Jasmine said.

"What!Why?", I said to her looking a little upset.

"Carter is done and we do have to leave in the morning too", she said and was so right. We left the bill and tip and was on our way to the hotel.

--At the Penthouse

We were all getting our stuff packed for in the morning. It was a nice experience here in New York and spend it with family. I was all packed and ready for bed. Jacquees was in the living room watching tv and talking to his cousin Issa. I walked passed him into Jasmine room.

" Hey Boo", I said her in my Cali voice.

"Hey", she said holding Carter in her arms.

"You ready to leave New York", I said to her.

"About that, George called and said he is coming to New York for a charity event", she said to me wrestling with Carter.

" I thought the plan was to leave together", I said sounding upset.

"I know what the plan was but things don't always go to plan", she said playing with his feet and not caring at the time.

"Alrighty then well it seems you made your mind about all of this. What are you going to do with Carter?", I said questioning her.

"George said it's an family event and they called him and told him to bring his family", she told me answering my question.

"Okay so you going to be here or going to his place", I said to her.

" His place, Jada, I hope this isn't a problem", she said looking up at me.

"It's not, but ill see you in the morning okay, smooches", I said walking out the room before she could say anything.
