It All Started on a FREEWAY?!?

Chapter 3 - tahoe

*Megans POV*

After a very very long drive to Tahoe, we finally made it. My uncle owns two cabins right on the water and he offers them to my family every year and we usually take his offer. We usually stay in the cheaper one because its just for my family so its not a big deal, but this time we are staying in the high class one.

As we pulled into the driveway we all looked up in awe. This place is huge.

"OMG! Your uncle owns this place?" Sophie asked barely being able to let the words come out of her mouth.

"This place is beautiful!" Haylee said looking at the house.

"I guess. I always stayed next door, and never realized how beautiful this place is." I said to the girls.

As Haylee parked the car. We all unbuckled and hopped out. "Hey Haylee, can you pop the trunk open so we can get our stuff?" Stephanie asked. We all grabbed our bags and headed to the front door. I pulled out the key and unlocked the door. We all walked in with our mouths wide open. The walls were all painted white but had many nice pictures up of the lake and mountains. There was a huge flat screen tv and surrounding it was two huge couches and two comfy recliners.

"Race you guys to the best room." I yelled as I ran up the stairs. The stair case wrapped around the huge wall and at the top of the stair case was a hallway. There were easily five or six huge bedrooms with four of them with a lake view. I knew that we would all pick one of those rooms.

I picked the biggest room since i got to the top of the stairs and its my uncles cabin. The room was white like the rest of the house with a huge California King size bed. The comforter was white and blue with about a thousand pillows. It was one of those rooms with two different levels and in the shallow area was a couch with at flat screen tv in front of it. I threw my duffle bag onto the couch and ran and jumped onto the bed. It felt like a cloud. It was so comfy.

I went through my duffle bag and pulled out my make up bag and brought it into the bathroom. It was a jack-and-jill bathroom so Haylee and I were sharing a bathroom because her bedroom was next to mine. I pulled out a mirror, cover up, and mascara and fixed up my makeup just a little because I had been in a car for almost seven hours and I fell asleep twice ok so don't judge. I then walked into Haylee's room to check it out.

"Hey Haylee." I said.

"Hii" she answered.

"Do you like your room?" I asked.

"Yeah. The bed is so comfortable." Haylee replied.

"Mine too" I said with a smile.

"Hey." Stephanie said.

"Hey Steph. What about you. Do you like your room?" I asked.

"Yeah. It's so nice in there. But I'm hungry. What should we get to eat" she said.

"Hey Sophie. Come in here." Haylee yelled down the hall.

"What's up?" Sophie said as she walked into the room and sat onto the bed.

"Are you hungry." Haylee asked her.

"Yeah. I guess I can eat. What should we get?" Sophie asked the rest of us.

"PIZZA!!!" we all yelled because it was cheap, we could get it delivered, and cause its good.
