Secret of the Gods; Leaked

Percy P.O.V.

Mia, Josh, Thalia, Annabeth and I were all sitting at Starbucks. It was supposed to be a cool evening to hang out with my friends.

Unfortunately, my aura has to be stronger than average demigods. Yippee.

So anyways, we were sitting there. The sweeper girl that cleaned up the trash on the floor came by and said,"Hello, Perseus. " Not a good sign if someone says your real name.

I instinctively started to reach for my pocket, but she pulled me up short, "I wouldn't. We all know about your play toy, Perseus. Ah, Thalia and Annabeth, it is a pleasure to finally meet you after hearing what great heroes you were during the war. It was a shame you had to win. I would have enjoyed the new Golden Age. Pity."

Now I was sure that this chick was a monster. I slipped my hand into my pocket, grabbing my pen. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Annabeth's hand grip her dagger, and Thalia's hand approaching Aegis. I silently counted to three, giving the signal to attack.

My third finger straightened, and all of us brought our weapons and pounced for the monster, but she moved faster than we were expecting. She jumped onto the table, scaring the hebejebies out of our friends, and we all turned to face her again. She slowly morphed into a creature that looked like Mrs. Dodds. I heard Annabeth mutter something under her breath. I think it sounded like 'arai'.

"Tsk, tsk, Jackson. I expected more fight. I guess some are just made out to sound better than they are. Well, I must kill you now, orders of the patron!" She smiled cruelly at me, then pounced. I sidestepped, bringing my sword up as she flew by. The blade made contact, and she crumbled to dust. I started to appreciate my handiwork, when a pain strengthened in my gut.

I pressed my hand to the problem area, and it came back bloody. This wasn't supposed to happen. I didn't bathe in the river Styx to have the curse reversed by some old hag lady. I started to get lightheaded and fell to the floor with a thump. The last thing I saw before I couldn't keep my consciousness anymore, was Annabeth running to my side, and the horrified faces of my mortal friends.

Don't mind me I'm just a sibsiwhsbxofbabKcjfnsmsjdbdodidn woah who gave you permission to touch my keyboard? Stop! Thank you. I'm just a LINEBREAK taking you to Percy's apartment.

I blinked my eyes slowly. My vision was really blurry and my hearing was iffy. I could feel something sliding across my forehead and I forces myself to focus in the direction of the object.

I came face to face with my good friend Maddie.

She smiled down at me, but what she said was obviously meant for many people to hear, "Mr. Hero is awake!"

*and yes, people, I do realize how much that sounds like my hero is awake but it's not*

I heard footsteps thundering towards us and I tensed for an attack, but immediately winced because of a pain in my side. I felt hands guide me to a sitting position, then faced the crowd of people. I saw my mom, Jackson, Maddie, Josh, Alex, and Paul. I looked at every face, and noticed ones absence.

"Where's Annabeth?" I questioned.

"She just went to the the bathroom, sweetie, she'll be out in a minute."

"Your such an idiot, Seaweed Brain. "

Everyone turned and got out of the way as Annabeth marched up to me, smacked on the head, then gave me a quick peck on the cheek before saying, "Never try to kill an arai again, alright?"

"Alright. " I replied.

I smiled happily before realizing that the mortals weren't freaking out, but I saw them nod their heads in understanding. So they must have been told.
