Soundtrack Song #3: Glowing In The Dark (Originally Performed By The Girl and the Dreamcatcher) - Mud Slide Crush
Today is the first day of school, and honestly I didn't know what to expect. I wanted to be excited, but my fellow band mates are probably ready to lunge at me first chance they get.
The first day of school was a big deal for Mesa High School. They received numerous donations, grands, and students ever since Lemonade Mouth went there. And now that their back, who know's what could happen.
Charlie, Scott, Wen, Mo, Stella, and Olivia stood outside the entrance of their school. It has been three years since they been inside, who knows what could be waiting for them.
"We're still mad at you." Stella said still looking at the school.
"I know." Olivia responded.
"But, it's sweet that you care about us this much." Mo said as she put her arm around Olivia.
Charlie ran one hand through his now cut brown hair, "Maybe it's for the best, I mean we were all getting a little case of Hollywood Fever."
Everyone nodded at that.
"Well, ready?" Stella asked as she motioned to the school.
They all looked at each other, almost as if to get everyone's okay.
"Ready."
Now I can assure you, when we walked into the school, their wasn't a burst of wind, a red carpet, or a bunch of screaming fans. Instead, stood the school that we left three years ago, only with a lot of confused freshmen.
Everyone was walking and bumping into each other. Now even had time to realize that People's Band Of the Year was in their presence.
"Excuse me." Someone said as they tapped Scott's shoulder.
"Oh, do you want my autograph?" He asked with a smile pulling out a pen, while the rest of the band rolled their eyes.
"Um, no. I was gonna ask if you had a pen I could borrow. But now that I'm looking at you, you look kinda familiar." She said studying his face, while taking his pen. "You all do, actually."
"Thank you." They all said at the same time.
"Aren't you guys in a band, Orange Juice Nose, Ice Tea Eyes, or something."
Stella was a little offended, considering it was her doing that got with the bands name. "No, we're-" She started but then the bell cut her off, and the girl walked right past them, with a sly smile on her face.
"Gotta go, I have a real band to practice for." She winked at the six.
Mo put her hands on her hips, Charlie and Wen Put their heads up, Olivia tilted her head, and Scott held Stella back from attacking.
"What does she mean a real band?" Olivia questioned.
Charlie bushed it off, "Who cares."
"Would all Seniors please Report to the LM Auditorium, thank you." The announcer requested over the loud speaker.
The LM Auditorium. Can you guess what LM means?
"At least we still have that." Wen said as they started walking.
When they finally got there, they sat in the sixth row. Then, the lights went dark, and a wave of applause sweaped the auditorium as a figure came out of the darkness.
You know how I get when the sun goes down, how it feels when no ones around...
"Wait, I second, I recognize that voice anywhere." Scott said as he payed close attention to the voice.
The figure lifted his head up, to be none other then.
"Ray." Lemonade Mouth said in unison.
"Guess things aren't always what they seem." Olivia said to herself.
