After school, we decided to go to Charlie's house and complain about everything, in my opinion, I think this just means that we have to strike back in a bigger way. I mean, we're the one's that have a platinum album and a deluxe album on the way. And what does he have?

"Good looks, confidence, and a decent songwriter." Charlie answered the question that was brewing in the bands minds.

The first day of school was a disaster. Not to mention the fact that Mud Slide Crush was basically Mesa High's new it band. And Olivia hated that more then anything. Sure she was a little less shy then she was freshmen year, but she still wasn't ready to go up to him and slap Ray in the face. The band had retired to Olivia's backyard after school.

"Not to mention the fact that he has slight sideburns now." Scott said.

Olivia laughed at that, "Please, we're all hot, plus we performed at the Billboard Music Awards, twice! And all the songs we've written are hits."

The band nodded their heads in agreement.

"Well, Island's been on our butts for a new single." Wen started. "Why don't we release on of our singles?"

Olivia shrugged, "Are you sure now is the right time?"

"I think it is." Scott jumped in. "It's been almost a month since Ready Or Not came out. How about we release something slower?"

Mo, lit up at that idea. "Ooh! We can release As Long As I Have You!"

"Or, we can release Gibberish. It's the start of the school year, and I think that would be a good end of summer anthem." Stella suggested.

Olivia sit up, "You know what we do when we have to pick a song to release."

Everyone started to whine. "Pick it put of a hat." The rest of the band whined in unison.

Stella rolled her eyes and grab a piece of paper that was near her and grabbed the pen from her shirt pocket. She scribbled down As Long As I Have You and Gibberish on the papers before grabbing Scott's beanie of his head and dropped the paper in.

"Alright, who's turn is it to pick?" Olivia asked.

Wen raised his hand as he stood up and walked to the hat. He covered his eyes and picked and piece of paper.

"Dang."

So we called our manager and told him to release As Long As I Have You on Friday. I really hope this goes to the top of the charts, we really need to price that Lemonade Mouth is still on top. But it's only the first week of school, what could happen?

Why this song?

I picked this song because I feel like that is one of the two Liv And Maddie songs that really speak to me, almost as if could be sung by anyone. And I visualized Olivia just belting out to this song.
