This is really long, so yeah plz read and rate. I love you all and I'll see you in the next chapter. Thank you.
I awake in a forest, I don't where or who I am. I don't remember anything from the previous day. It was incredibly foggy and dark. I could barely see my hands. I hear a hoot, then a howl.
I run.
I run until I can't hear the howl nor the hoot.
And suddenly I see a light.
Piercing threw the darkness. I couldn't recognize it. A flashlight? Lamp? I wasn't sure.
"Hey, w-whos there?" whispered a male voice. "Hello?" I tried to yell, but all that came out was a whimper. The male recognized the voice as a young female child. He aimed the light my way and saw me, foot stuck in a root of a tree, scratches and blood across my body, in a pile of freshly fallen Autumn leaves.
"Ch-Child, you shouldn't be here, go back home" said the voice.
"I don't have a home" I said, trying to get my foot out of the root. "W-wait k-kid!" the male said grabbing a pocket knife and cutting the root, freeing my sore ankle. The man or boy picked me up, walking me to a small cabin, at least there was light in it.
"Eden, did you bring a feast?" asked another mans voice. "N-no sir, b-but I found a-a person...a child" Eden said, I guess that was his name. "Why would a child be in such a dangerous forest? Doesn't it have a family? Or at lease a home?" asked the 'sir'. "The child said she d-doesn't have a-any"
The elder man took me from Eden's arms. "Whats your name?" asked the man. "I don't know" I replied. "Well, then your name is..." the man thought. "Izanami!" the man suddenly shouted. "Um, K-Koro-senpai isn't that y-your mothers name?"asked Eden. "Yes, to...commemorate her..."
"Iza-na-mi?" I asked, pronouncing my name. I smiled and nodded in agreement of my new name.
"Koro-senpai?" I asked, wondering if 'Koro' was his name. "You, child, do not need to call me that, my real name is Koroshi, you may call me that" he replied. "Eden?" I asked, wondering if that was his name. "He smiled and replied; "Y-yes!"
I lived with them for about eleven years and I got accustomed to them. They both had a kind side to them. Eden more than Koroshi though. Eden was a very shy person, he didn't like being in crowds and he wasn't social at all, he also stutters a lot. On the other hand, Koroshi was pretty strong and self-assertive, quick-tempered. Though, he can be very calm when he has his alone time.
"K-Koro-sensei?" asked Eden, peeking his head into the kitchen, where Koroshi was, making breakfast. I was still asleep.
"What is it Eden?" asked Koroshi.
"The h-human, should w-we t-tell her?" asked Eden back to Koroshi. "What do you mean? We have a lot to tell her." said Koroshi, putting the pancakes and bacon on the table. "Um, the a-a-animal t-t-t-tra-transformation" said Eden, sounding, to say the least, terrified.
Koroshi sighed.
"I hoped you wouldn't ask that" respond Koroshi. "Get Izanami" he added. Eden nodded and walked off.
"I-Izanami-san?"
I moaned and wiped my eyes. The sunlight was strong on my new-awakened eyes. "Breakfast i-is r-ready" said Eden, before walking out, giving me privacy to change.
Eden walked out, finding the table prepared, Koroshi sitting at the end of the table. "Is she up?" asked Koroshi, picking up his fork and knife. "Yes" Eden responded.
I walked out after getting dressed and sat by Eden. "We're going hunting after this" said Koroshi suddenly. Eden nodded and scraped his plate into the trash, going into his room to get a coat. "Kid, would you like to come?" asked Koroshi. I nodded happily and ran into my room to get my jacket. "Should, t-he k-kid really c-come?" asked back Eden. "She's fine" replied Koroshi.
I came out and Koroshi signaled a 'come here'. I happily walked out into the freezing winters. Eden shivered, and so did I, but it seemed Koroshi wasn't fazed.
It was about three hours and we decided the deer we killed would be enough for tonight and tomorrow. We went inside once Eden complained he had to pee and he refused to go by a tree.
Eden rushed inside to the bathroom, Koroshi went to go cook the deer for dinner and I went to my room and watched TV.
It was about 3:00 AM. I was asleep and so were the others. I heard a bang. Then a clash. Then a snap. I jumped out of bed, and I saw a large man dressed in a black trench coat, wielding a knife and syringe. And a...vampire deer?
I stood there shocked, before Eden came out and had the most pained expression I have seen in my whole life. There were tears in his eyes, face red. "K-Koro-sensei!" shouted Eden towards the deer. The vampire deer bucked the man, sending him flying back into the snow. "Run! Run as fast as you can! Out the window! Take the kid!" The deer shouted, in...English. The man came back up preparing to stab the deer. "GO!"
Eden suddenly changed into a black and white rabbit and signaled to me to follow as he jumped out the open window, I followed, scraping my knee on a broken glass piece.
Eden ran much faster than me but I managed to keep him in sight, I tripped over a root, a stick digging into my open wound and oozing fresh, warm blood from my leg. "Eden! P-please stop!" I yelled as loud as I could, seeing as Eden was much farther than I was.
Eden transformed back into a human. "K-kid? A-are you alright?" he panted through it. "I'm fine, I need to stop." I responded. He picked me up and carried me over to a small river and washes my scratches in it.
