Chapter 8
In Australia
One month imperceptibly passed. I and Conor spent every free minute with each other. The month was pretty busy for both of us, because he worked for his new album and I was going on photoshoots. And now it was time for the video premiere. We’d traveled with Joey, Jack and Alex. I was too worried. I didn’t want to see Beau in there.

A car picked me at 10 PM and Conor waited me on the airport. After a couple of minutes Joey, Alex and Jack arrived. We went on board on Conor’s private plane and it took off.
After a bottle of champagne Jack and Alex fall asleep. I, Conor and Joey talked a little more. Then I snuggled in Conor and fall asleep as well.

I woke up of Conor’s whisper in my ear.
“Get up Jessie. We almost arrive.”
I slowly opened my eyes and looked through the plane’s window. Yes! It was Melbourne. My Melbourne! The sun has just risen. The sky was clear and blue. The weather was just perfect.
When the plane landed, a black limo waited us. No matter it was about 6 o’clock in the morning there were a lot of reporters and photographers, asking questions and taking pictures. We quickly got in the limo and closed the door.
After we arrived in the hotel, we settled in our rooms. I and Conor were in a big duplex apartment.
When I walked in, I exclaimed.
“Oh my God! Conor! It’s just wonderful!” I said and gave Conor a big hug.
“Everything for my girl.” He smiled and kissed me.
“What’s that?” then I asked him, looking in a black box in the middle of the bed with the Versace’s emblem on it.
“That’s for you.” He smiled back. “Hope you like it and wear it on the premiere.”
When I opened the box I was stunned. The most beautiful dress I have ever seen was right in front of me. I jump in Conor’s hug and started kissing him so so so much.
“Thank you, thank you, thank you!” I yelled.
“I’m glad you like it!” he smiled and hugged me strongly.

After breakfast Conor and Joey decided to go to the rooms and sleep a bit. I wanted to go with them, but Jack and Alex weren’t on my opinion.
“No, no, no!” Jack grabbed my hand, after I stand up of the chair to go upstairs with Conor. “You come with us.”
“No, guys. I’m a bit tired from the flight.” I tried to escape. I didn’t want to hang out in Melbourne. One reason – Beau. I could see him everywhere – at the mall, at the downtown, at a café. Everywhere!
“Come on Jessie! We can get lost in a city like this.” Alex looked at me like a puppy.
“Plus you’re not tired. You slept during the whole flight!” Jack added.
“Jessie go with them.” Conor smiled. “Joey and I might join you after some hours.”
“Yes, Jessie! Pleaseeeee!” Jack and Alex begged me in the same time.
“Ohhh! Fineee!” I finally agreed.
“Have fun guys!” Joey and Conor said together.
We said our goodbyes and I, Jack and Alex went out of the hotel. The day was beautiful, the sun was shining and then bam! In the first shop we stopped I saw him. Actually I saw them. Beau, Jai and Luke were there. Damn it! They quickly notice me.
“Jess?” Beau whispered.
I tried to say something like “Yeah, it’s me”, but it wasn’t sounded like that.
“Oh my God! Jessica!” Jai and Luke almost yelled, grabbed me in a hug and lifted me from the floor.
I laughed and hugged them as well.
“I’m so happy to you guys!” I said after I let them from the hug.
“So are we.” Jai smiled. “You’re here for Conor’s video premiere, aren’t you?”
“That’s right.” I smiled back. “By the way let me introduce his brother Jack and his friend Alex.”
“It’s nice to meet you guys.” Jai and Luke said together and shook hands with Alex and Jack.
“And that’s Beau.” I said to Alex and Jack and tried to smile at Beau.
“It’s nice to meet you Beau.” Jack and Alex shook their hands with him, but Beau didn’t even smile at them. He was like hypnotized in me.
“So we’re out for some hours before the premiere. You wanna hang out with us guys?” I asked the twins.
“Sure.” They said together. “Beau, you come?”
“Um… Yeah, yeah, sure.” He shook his head.

So we spent 5 hours in Melbourne with the brothers Brooks. It was really funny to spend some time with Jai and Luke. Beau didn’t talk so much. He just walked behind me, Jai, Luke, Alex and Jack.
“So guys I think we have to go back to the hotel.” I informed Alex and Jack after I looked in my watch.
“We’re going to see each other on the premiere, right?” Jai asked.
“Yes, that’s right.” I smiled back.
We said our goodbyes and went back to the hotel.
Conor and Joey waited us there.
“Where have you been all day guys?” Conor said and hugged me.
“Well, we were hanging out with the brothers Brooks.” Alex explained.
“Oh!” Conor sounded surprised and wasn’t that happy. “And how are they?”
“Good. They’re good.” I smiled and tried to escape from the subject. “So I think it’s time to get ready for the premiere.”
“Yeah, let’s go!” Jack agreed and we all went to our rooms.
