Jade's POV

"You can run but you can not hide Jade, I have eyes everywhere. Join me, kill your friends...or else I kill you and your friends. I'm going to kill them all painfully anyways....just like your family." Gaea says. 

The day replays in your head, the day your family died. 

"Jade and Eli, come inside for dinner." Mom calls out from the kitchen

"Coming Mom, I just need to beat Eli and prove to him that girls can play soccer." you say kicking the ball around your twin brother. 

A ten-year-old you and Eli, your twin brother, were playing soccer in the backyard. Eli insisted that girls can't play soccer and you wanted to prove him wrong. 

You continuously scored and Eli continuously lost. 

"Ok, I'm done. You're good. Ok, I admit it girls can play soccer. I'm going inside to eat dinner." Eli says, raising his hands up in the air. 

"Ok, but tell Mom and Dad that I'm going to practice soccer for a little longer." you say bouncing the ball around. 

Dad wasn't your actual dad, he was your step-dad, you called him Dad anyways. He loved you way more than any father in this entire world does. Your real dad left your mom when you and Eli were 1-year-old. A year later, your mom married your step-dad, the best dad in the world. You had the perfect most loving family. 

Suddenly, the ground was shaking. You dropped to the ground. It was an earthquake. An awful one. You looked up to see your house collapsing. You hear screams coming from the house. 

"MOM! DAD! ELI!" You scream, getting up trying to run, the earthquake preventing you from going straight. 

When you finally get to the back door, the house crumbles and falls to the ground. You fall to the ground screaming and crying. They were gone...your perfect family...gone. You pinched yourself to make sure it wasn't a dream. It was real. The earthquake stops and you hear a woman chuckling in your ear. You ran up to the rubble, scavenging for your family. Out of the corner of your eye, you spot a hand, a hand with a bracelet. Mom. You ran over to the hand and push aside all the rocks on top of Mom. You pull out her body and hear a groan from her mouth.

"Mom!" You scream and hugged her, tears streaming down your eyes. 

"Hey sweetheart. Don't cry. You know I will always be with you." she said, lifting her hand to stroke her hair.

"No, Mom you're not going to die. You'll live. Please live. I love you too much." you sob. 

"Listen sweetheart, I need to go now. But I want you to remember that I will always love you and I will always be there with you." she says. 

"No Mom! Don't go." you exclaimed, lifting you head to see your mom's eyes drifting to a close. 

"Go with him, he'll help you. Take care of my daughter Percy. I love you sweetie." Mom said pointing to a figure behind you. 

You turn around to see a tall boy with sea green eyes, "Yes Ma'am." he said

You turn back around to see Mom's eyes shut, her chest wasn't rising, "Ok Mom." you say tears streaming down your cheeks.
