Shit.

Now everyone was looking at me expectantly. That is why I hate these romantic gestures. And this was way worse then bringing flowers.

I slowly made my way to the stage and took my time to walk up the stairs. I took small steps and walked towards Jay. That idiot was still grinning.

" Yes. " I mumbled.

" I didn't quite hear you. " That son of an idiot said through the mic.

" Yes. " I mumbled through the mic this time.

His grin now covered his whole face and he picked me up while the audience cheered.

I glared at him and snatched the mic. " I am sure we all are very happy though there are other participants waiting. " I said angrily.

Yea trust me to spoil a very romantic moment.

The crowd booed because they missed the later drama as all of the dance group was making their way backstage. Jay was still grinning like an idiot.

I was angry though not on Jay. Natasha gave him that idea. Not his fault.

I bid his friends farewell and he came to drop me home.

" Thanks, Jay, I had a lovely time. " I said smiling.

" It was my pleasure. " he said smiling back.

And now comes the awkward moment. We stood in silence. Somebody called me and I was so relieved. Thanks to my mysterious savior.

I turned back to see Sam. He literally saved me from getting embarrassed. Twice.

" Well. I'll get going now. " Jay said tuning to his car. I nodded.

" Hey, Sam. " I waved at him.

" Hey, Ari. " He waved back. " So how was your date? " he asked me.

" Awesome. " I said smiling. How the date started. Jay's sense of humor. His dance. And how he asked me to the dance. Then my smile dropped.

He just nodded.

We went to sit at our regular place.

Vihaan was strolling around putting his hand in the water which was flowing below the stones.

", Hi, Sam. " He said in his cute little voice. " And pretty girl with him, " he said complimenting me. He is the definition of cute.

" Hi. " I said ruffling his hair.

" Hey, Vihaan. " Sam bent down on one knee and did a fist-clap with Vihaan.

He was so good with kids. Would he be a good father? Yea definitely. An image of my kids calling him dad flashed through my mind. Uggghh stupid Ari. Stop thinking about him. I paid attention to what he was telling Vihaan.

" Do you find her pretty? " He asked him.

" Yes. " Vihaan nodded.

" Well, then you haven't seen real pretty girls. " Sam said to him.

I hit him hard on the head.

" Oouch. What was that for? " he asked.

" That was for insulting me. " I said.

" I didn't insult you. It was a mere fact. " He said.

I glared at him.

Vihaan was looking back and forth at us.

" Where is Sia? " he finally asked.

" At home. " I replied.

He nodded and ran towards the building.
