3.

Yes! I knew it! My dad is the best. I told him to help me out of this mess and within no time, we were in search of a bigger house.

"Come on Soham," dad said patting the agent's back,"You can do better than this. Money is not a problem. Show us a bigger flat."

"Alright then, here is the best which I have come across. A little expensive, though. It is a 3 1/2 BHK flat,"the agent said.

"No problems. I will take it if my daughter likes it,"My dad said looking at me with all the love.

We sat in our car with Sia still fussing about how she loved the house and how dad broke her dear pretty heart. Sia seriously is irritatating. All along the journey, she was singing songs with lyrics that she couldn't even pronounce properly.

She was the only one here who thought this house hunting thing is a picnic. Oh and mom! she goes all gaga whenever Sia does anything. She is aiming to spoil Sia.

Anyways the voice of the agent interrupted my thoughts when he said,"Slow down here sir."

My dad slowed down the speed of the car. A big building which almost had 50 floors came into view though it seemed very far from its entrance gate. My dad brought the car in front of the gate and the gatekeepers opened it. We entered with dad speeding up the speed again. All along the road, there were trees planted with small fountains at intervals.

The road had many outlets labeled ' The football field', ' Rihanta Cafeteria', ' Jogging park', ' Swimming pool'.

I was in awe of the place.

Finally, there came into our view, the great building, with about 50 to 60 floors, and the words ' RIHANTA APARTMENTS ' written in big block golden letters.

There was an inner gate and the gatekeepers opened it.

"Welcome to Rihanta Apartments. How may we help you sir?" they spoke in fluent English.

"I am Soham and I have brought my clients here to see the flat,"the agent said showing his card.

"Go right in sir. Parking on the second floor,"the gatekeepers spoke as they handled the agent a token.

Dad accelerated the car and in we went.

"WOW! Mooommmeeee, thish ish shoo big!" Sia exclaimed.

We drove the car to the second floor and dad parked it there. We got to the elevator. The agent pressed the 11th floor. I really felt that something was longing to happen in this place. I loved its aroma.

The elevator halted and we got down on the 11th floor which lead to a big lobby. Sia was quiet the whole time as she was speechless.

He rang the doorbell and asked the lady who opened it for a key for the room number 1106. I guess the keys of the empty flats stayed with the neighbors.

Then we walked to another flat and the agent opened the door to the flat and a fresh aroma of roses greeted me. There were rose petals lying all over the floor.

"Mommmmeeee!" we heard Sia yell out from somewhere. She came out from some room and started pulling mom's top.

"You gotta shee thish, You gotta shee thish," she shouted excitedly.

We all followed her lead. "Shee, thish house has a small room inside a bigger one. Can I have thish room, pleashe!" she pouted.

"Uhh..that is like a store room,"the agent awkwardly told my mum, scratching his head.

"Suits her well," I chuckled at my own joke.

"Honey, having your own room is..." mom was trying to say something.

"Pleashe, pleashe, pleashe!" Sia started pleading continuously until mom said yes.

"Perfect, dad I love this house too," I said truthfully.

"Well then, it's settled,"my dad smiled, shaking hands with the agent.

From the time we have come house hunting, this must be the nicest experience of all.

The house is totally wonderful with three rooms and another' store room' inside a room. So the store room is Sia's and the room is mom's so she can keep an eye on Sia. The best thing is my room is far away from theirs.

The only thing that haunts me is when Sia said,"Watch it sissy. I got my own room now."

And I always get doomed when she says that. The last time she said "Watch it sissy," was when I accidentally locked her in my room when my friends were coming over and I really shouldn't have done that. The next thing I knew, I found a bug in my sandwich and the whole cafeteria could hear me screaming.

The worst part is when I got home she asked,"How was the lunch, sisy."

Imagine me who is not scared of ghosts or vampires is haunted by a 3-year-old. Well, she was 3 at that time.

So I don't know what she is going to do now. Fingers crossed.
