PROLOGUE
"Please," the woman begged," our child deserves to know the joys of our world!"
The creatures standing before her seemed indiffernt, with light pooring from their hoods masking there features.
"Your child will be far to powerful, it might misuse it's power. We can not put our people at risk" explained the creatures.
"There must be another way," A man pleads, while holding the woman in a comforting embrace.
The man and woman wait anxiously for a reply, while standing in the center of a room made of harden sand, filled with the worlds greatest riches. Unknown to the couple however, was the creatures knownledge of another way. They have always known. Sitting on there ancient golden throwns, placed on a risen platform, they come to a decision.
"There is a way," said a creature, it's voice filling the room in a way that it seems to come from everywhere and no where at once, giving no hint as to which of the four creatures had spoken.
"It is the way of the past, and it is dangerous," it warns. "Your child will be greatly tested."
"If it will give our child the chance to be in it's rightful place in our world, we will do anything." The man says with confidence.
"Your child will be challenged in a series of trials, in order to prove themselves worthy and capable of handling such immense power. On your childs 17th year, the trials will begin. They will not be told of what is to come before then, but you may train them in anyway you may find helpful. For if they fail, it may cost you their life. May the Fates be on your side.
