I woke up to my alarm at 10:00 AM I heard yelling and shouting about who was to use the bathroom first. I opened my eyes and looked around the room. I saw my little sister was still asleep. I looked at her side of the room all pink and with My Little Pony posters and toys. Then I looked to mine covered in One Direction posters and pillows. I got up and walked past all the people outside the bathroom and down the stairs where Maddie and Phillip were making breakfast. Maddie and Phillip are husband and wife and they run the place. I said "Hi Maddie hi Phillip" they turned around to me and Maddie said "Oh hi McKenzie." I went and sat down at my place and then Maddie called everyone down to breakfast. All the little kids came rushing down the stairs as you can tell I am the oldest in the house. I smelt the warm porridge coming out of the microwave. Everyone was sat down and Maddie was coming around with orange and apple juice. She came round and poured me a glass of apple juice.
Then she anounced "Today is visitors day, that means you could get adopted today." Everyone became so excited. Everyone but me. Flo my little sister asked why I wasn't excited I said "It's because no one will ever want to adopt me because I'm older than the rest of you and they want little children not older ones like me." Then after I finished breakfast I trudged back upstairs to get dressed. I put on my One Direction shirt from Primark and my ripped Hollister jeans. I also put on my matte black Dr Martens boots. I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and do my hair. I went back into my room and grabbed my phone and my Nintendo 3DS and went downstairs.
I sat on the couch playing my Mario Kart as adults flooded in to look at everyone. No one bothered to talk to me and that is why I was happy with it this way. I'm not good with socialising with people i have never met before. My sister came skipping over to me in her fluffy pink tutu and yellow shirt with Pinky Pie and Rainbow Dash on she looked so cute. She had her hair in pigtails with one put up in a yellow ribbon and the other in a pink. She came up to me and asked me why I wasn't with people I said it was because I didnt feel well but that was a complete lie and she knew it. But she left with a satisfied look on her face. People were in and out of the place for two hours it was about 2:30 PM by the time they had left.
But at 3:00 PM someone knocked on the door and a girl called Jessica and her twin brother Jessie went to get it and the man said "I'm looking for the owners of this place." So Jessica went to get Maddie and brought her to him. Maddie led him in and I caught a glimse of him. I thought he looked so familier but I couldn't quite put my finger on who he was. Maddie and the mysterious man went in the office I overheard their convosation. The man said in a strong Irish acsent "I'm looking to adopt a child around the age of 11 or 12." I clearly knew who it was after hearing his voice but I couldnt quite get over it would be him. I thought it was to good to be true so I went back to my room where my sister was on her IPad watching My Little Pony. I sat there on the edge of my bed until Maddie came upstairs. She came to me and said "There is a man downstairs who is looking to adopt a child of the age 11 to 12 and we only have you and I thought you would like to me him." I asked her what his name was and she replied saying "His name is Mr Niall Horan."
I knew exactly who she was talking about even with her pronouncing his name wrong. I hopped and ran downstairs and my sister followed. He was in the living room with Phillip I walked in and said "umm excuse me are you Mr Horan." He turned around and said "why yes I am I see your a fan of One Direction." "A huge fan sir" I said. "expecially Niall he's my favourite." At that point he lowered his hood and said "well I'm glad to hear that." I was stunned I fainted but he caught me as I was falling.
I woke up on the sofa with what felt like a million children surrounding me. Only there was about 7 of them aswell as Niall.As I woke up he said to me "now can I have a chat with you as you are awake." I replied with a hop up saying "yeah sure." He sat down on the sofa across from me and everyone else got escorted out of the room by Maddie. The first question he asked was what I thought of it here at Old Oak House. My answer was "it's nice but I would love if I had a family or at least a parent to look after me and my sister." He replied asking me how old was my siste. I said "my sister is 5 and she loves my little pony and animals just like me I love animals too." He said "well it's good you both like animals as I have 3 horses and a cat at my house." I thought that was great then I went on to ask him questions that I already knew the answer too. It was fun then my Flo came in to ask if we wanted some tea as she hat a teapot and stuff. I took the tray and placed it on the coffe table between me and Niall and I picked her up and sat her down next to me. I said "Mr Horan this is my sister Flo she is 5 as I have said and she loves My Little Pony." He said to Flo "nice to meet you Flo I was wondering what is you favourite animal?" She replied saying "thats easy cant you tell it's a pony." He replied saying "oh silly me." Me and Flo giggled.
He asked Flo to go and find Maddie and she came back with Maddie in hand. He and Maddie went to the office. He came out and gave us both a big hug. Then Maddie came out and said "you girls better get rest and packing as someone is coming to pick you up at 12:00 PM after lunch. That evening Flo said to me "that man today looks just like the man on your poster of One Direction. I said "thats because it is Flo, now get some sleep we got a good day ahead tommorow."
