Caroline pov

Riker panted as we came to a halt. I looked up and saw Ross with red puffy eyes. I jumped off of Riker's back and ran into Ross's arms hugging him tightly. I grabbed onto his shirt crying soaking his shirt but he didn't care. He hugged me back tightly and sobbed as he held me close to him "don't you EVER scare me like that again!" He said loud looking into my eyes. His watery red eyes met my puffy eyes. I heard his sore and rusty voice as he spoke. It was obvious that he'd been crying a lot. I was about to say something until I heard a small growl from Riker. I looked at him and his ears where perking up. His Dark eyes piercing through the dark shadows like daggers. Then we all heard small sounds like twigs snapping under someone's feet. The steps where heavy as it came closer. Our heads darted in the direction and then we all saw a pair of red glowing eyes lighting up the space in the shadows. Then we all saw the Irish blonde man walking out with the most cold looking face I had ever seen. He smirked but Ross had had [gotta have that double had] enough. He stepped forwards and his eyes turned darker and his fangs grew longer. "Stay back." Ross said now in a more darker and demonic voice. He pushed me behind him protecting me but Niall just chuckled then laughed "aww look at you all! Aren't ye just adorable!" He said with a big smile "ye won't scare me that easily Ross." He said now with his face dropped to a dark, dead look. His eyes glowing brighter with the blood red color. Ratliff and Rocky pulled me back and away from Ross as groans was heard from him. Suddenly a large pair of black wings shot out spreading wide like and eagle. Ross skin turned paler and black liquid slides down his chin from his mouth "I said. "STAY BACK!" He shouted making everyone covering there ears. Niall looked a bit shocked but shook it off "oh dear Ross. Ye think your little dark angel can scare me away? Well that's where your wrong." Suddenly the clouds turned dark only the full moon light up the place around them. A blue fire started to burn in Niall's left eye and blue liquid slides down his chin from his lips "your not the only one with strong powers." He said in his dark Irish voice. Then it all turned quiet. They all just started at each other. The owls where heard and Niall looked at me and I swallowed hard but stepped forwards. "Leave them alone. It's me you want not th-" I got cut of hearing a loud howl. Riker perked his ears up looking in the direction the howl came from. Then suddenly a pack of wolves formed around us making Niall starts to get a little concerned.  He shifted slightly in his position then suddenly disappeared into the shadows.

The pack of wolves surrounded us then the alpha female stepped up looking at Riker and nudged him over but Riker stepped back staying with us. With his head low and his ears back. The alpha female changed into a human form "I'm not here to hurt you. First of all, Riker. Don't ask how I know your name, but Riker. I can learn you how to go from vampire to wolf. And back" she said looking at him. He looked at us not sure if we should trust her or not.

Riker pov

I looked at the female. "Is she really who she says she is?" I asked myself looking into her eyes. I then stepped forwards and slowly stood up taller than her. Her pack looked at us and growled at me, but she made them shut quiet By lashing her tail. I nodded and suddenly we where off into the deepest part of the woods. As we arrived I understood that this was their territory or...her territory. "You never told me your name." I said walking behind her almost walking next to her but one of the pack members bit my tail pulling me back making me go behind everyone else. I controlled my anger and just sat straight down with my eyes closed and ears perked up. The female stopped and looked behind her looking at me just sitting there. She made the pack go and she walked over "my name is Arvail." She said smiling looking at me. "We'll start the training in the morning. Get some rest." She said and left. I laid down where I sat closing my eyes falling asleep.

Arvail pov

I looked behind me only to see him laying on the ground. I slowly walked back to him and gently nudged him to wake up. He let out a small groan and rolled on his back. I backed away looking at him as a strange feeling rushed through her body "W-why do I f-feel like this?....this s-strange feeling....what is t-this" I asked to myself looking at my paws then at him. He was now sitting up looking at me. "You alright?" He asked stepping closer to me shaking his blonde fur. He sat in front of me and I looked at him. Our eyes locked and without thinking I slowly brushed my tail over his. Not thinking straight he turned into a human and so did I. We sat next to each other staying quiet. Both of us didn't know what to say than just sit there.

No one pov

Riker looked at Arvail seeing her start to shake. "I'm not so often in human form..it's kinda new to me. I'm just slightly cold." She said looking down. Riker grabbed her hands holding them in his "wow..you really are cold" he said and chuckled. They both looked at each other then suddenly Arvail moved in kissing Riker on the lips. All they heard was each other's heartbeats. Soon Arvail pulled away and Riker looked at her "Was that your first kiss?" He asked and Arvail looked away and nodded slightly before looking back up at him with a small nervous smile "was it ok?.." He asked slightly nervous but she nodded with a smile that made him smile. "Wanna try it again?.." He asked not breaking eye contact with her. In respond, she moved closer to him and so did he until their lips connected. They started making out and Arvail started tugging at the neck of his shirt. Riker slowly moved his hand up to her cheek stroking it with this thumb softly. He moved in to kiss her again but she pulled slightly back. "I-I wanna try something else..." She said looking into his eyes. Her eyes started to glow a beautiful crystal blue color. He looked back at her "something else?..." He asked almost as a whisper and she nodded. He gently pushes her down on the ground going on top of her as he kissed her once more. He slowly pulled his head back looking in her eyes. He bit his lip slightly then kissed her again, kissing her deeply. Slowly moving down her neck biting slightly at her skin with his fangs teasing her. He intertwined his fingers with hers holding them above her head. They kept kissing each other deeply. Every kiss was filled with emotions and love. But there was something that kept swirling round in Riker's head Could this be love?
