Awakening.

Ross POV

I held Caroline close to me. She wasn't moving. I felt her body temperature change go down. We where the same body temperature now. Her lips where light pink and her skin was paler almost white. She's been out for almost three hours and I still haven't moved. I decided to bring her over to the bed so that's what I did. I lifted her up bridal style and placed her on the bed. Right when I was about to walk out, I suddenly felt a tight, almost crushing, grip around my wrist.

Caroline POV

I felt my hole body just stop. My heart was beating fast and the blood kept rushing through my veins. I wanted to open my eyes but they where too heavy. My neck hurt like hell. I felt my body suddenly lose contact with the floor and get placed in something now softer. In Just pure reflexes I grabbed someone. I could finally open my eyes to see Ross who had a quite shocked face but he smiled. I slowly sat up, leting go of Ross's wrist. "I was so worried you where gone...how are you feeling?" He asked looking at me sitting down right next to me "well my neck and my head hurts.." I groaned almost whispering. "And my throat burns. Like someone set fire to it." He held my hand stroking it slowly with his thumb as he looked into my eyes. "You need to hunt" he said as he pulled me out of the bed and we jumped out of the window.

Ross POV

We ran through the forest till we hit a sudden stop. "Listen to your surroundings." I said as she turned around and closed her eyes. All of a sudden she started running in a direction so I quickly followed her until we where right by a deer. She walked carefully closer to it as she turned to look at me and I nodded signing her to continue. She turned back to look at the deer that was eating peacefully until she quickly jumped at it tackling it to the ground and bit into its neck sucking every single drop of its blood. She pulled her fangs out quickly with a gasp and blood running down her chin. I chuckled and walked over to her bringing her closer to me as I wipe away the blood from the corner of her mouth. "Well done" I smiled looking into her eyes. That's when I noticed. Her eyes. They weren't normal.

This is wired. Usually when someone gets turned, there eyes aren't suppose to be purple but a dark red. I knew she was something special. "Now. Can I finally show you how much I love you?" I asked leaning closer to her kissing down her neck. I looked at her and saw her biting down at her bottom lip holding back a moan. I sucked and bite on her neck finally finding her sweet spot that drove her over the edge. She let out a loud moan making a smirk grown on my face. "Let's continue this back home..." I whispered into her ear and she nodded and suddenly we where home and I had her down against the bed. We where finally complete.

Caroline POV

My life had changed. This was the start Of something completely new.

Ross POV

I can't help thinking. All these people, putting themselves in danger, because I fell in love with a human.

But you found your mate, you deserve to be happy.

But In what cost?

Everyone here has something to fight for. I certainly do.
