Caroline POV
*beep, beep, beep* It was my alarm I turned it off sitting up yawning I then heard a knock on my door "come in..." I said tired my mom came in "happy birthday sweetie!" she said smiling hugging me, I hugged her back "thanks mom" I said smiling "I have a little gift for you" she said smiling widely "what is it?" I asked she gave me a card and when I opened it, it was two tickets for a R5 concert "you can bring with you a friend" she said smiling I gasped looking at the tickets "is this a dream? can someone slap me?" I asked looking at her she laughed "I'll be downstairs making some breakfast" she said walking out from my room I quick took a shower and got dressed. I walked down not seeing my mom "mom?" I asked looking around I then saw a peace of paper at the table "I had to go to work, love you" was written I looked at the plate beside the note it was some eggs, I ate it up and put on my jacket on walking out from the house and to the school.
