The Portal

Snow's pov

At first it didn't look like anything was different after falling through the portal. Well, I had a big headache from the landing but we were at excatly the same place as before.

The sky was blue again and the carriage we were riding in was gone.

I heard footsteps behind me and quickly got up.

"O my God, are you alright?" A little girl asked. I guess she was about 14 years old, she had dark long hair and was wearing a peasants dress.

"Were Fine" I answered, while I was helping Charming to get up.

"Are you sure? I saw you falling from the sky" she said.

" Well, we could use some answers" I said.
" Did you just see a lot of big, purple clouds a couple seconds ago?"

"No, I didn't, I am sorry"

"Thats oke"

" I really cant do anything else for you?" she asked. " If you need a place to stay, youre welcome to stay at my place" She smiled.

"Ow, we were going back to the castle, since we live there and all.." I answered." and I am also not so sure your parents would approve of strangers staying in your house."

"My parents are dead.. I live on my own. I have been rassen by someone else but she is gone now, on a trip. I really wouldn't mind giving you shelter for tonight" she smiled.

I felt sorry for the little girl.

"I am so sorry about your parents, but we really dont need to stay, we need to get back to our family in the ca.."

"Wait, You said you live in the castle?" The girl asked in disbelieve.
I nodded.

"Thats impossible.. The castle has been empty for years now"

I looked at her as if she was crazy.

" I am not joking. Queen snow White was murdered 15 years ago and The King committed suicide shortly after leaving their family behind. The Princess, her fiancé and son died while they were on the run from someone, no one knows who. No one knows what happened to the rest of the family, but not one of them has been seen ever since"

I didn't know if I should believe her. She was basicly telling me I was dead. But theoreticly it was possible, since we just fell through a portal.. Appeantly to the future.

"Whats your name?" I finally asked the little girl.

"Lily" she said. " Lily Angie.. And I dont have a last name since I never knew my real parents.

" Well Lily, is that offer for a place to stay still open?" she nodded and we followed her to her home.

Oke this might be a bit confusing since in the show Lily is the same age as Emma, but it will all be explained later.
