I sigh as I look at the beautiful snow falling from calm Snowdin, where I started living when I fell from the surface. That time, I was lost, with nowhere to go and all the dangers in the place called, "The Ruins". I met someone... horrible there, his name is Flowey, and I was so naive to believe that he was actually trying to help me, with all his friendlyness pellets and a cute expression covering a cruel and cold personality. Oh well, at least I learned about my soul, which was a (S/C). I was about to die with the bullets surrounding me, I was hopeless and helpless... but then... nothing came... I opened my eyes in fear to see Flowey gone, replaced with a goat woman, a little kid and a... skeleton in a blue hoodie. Their names are Frisk, Toriel and Sans.

~Flashback...~

I stared at those monsters that I keep hearing about in the surface in fear. Will they hurt me? Will they kill me and take my soul? The skeleton in a blue hoodie approached me slowly, he had a never-ending smile, white pupils, a blue hoodie, grey shorts and sneakers. "P-please!" I yelled as I look away and put my hands in front of me. "I-if you're all going to kill me, p-please just make it quick!" The skeleton stopped right in front of me, his smile never once fading away from his face. We locked eyes, he had something... special about him... a certain spunk and care in his personality. I was so caught up in my thoughts that I didn't notice any of them talking to me.

"hey, kid. you alright? i asked you something, y'know?"

His voice was lazy, yet it had a side where he cares for his loved ones so much. I liked him for that. I shook my head and smiled. "I'm sorry, what did you say? I wasn't listening..." The goat woman behind him smiled came over to the skeleton's side with the kid holding her hand. "My child, we would never even think of hurting you. And we asked you if you're hurt." I smiled nervously, I guess the stories I have been hearing about them were wrong, other than Flowey, they don't seem so bad. I shook my head to answer their question. "No, I'm fine. What are your names by the way?" The goat woman smiled. Her smile is so kind, and I like it. "I am Toriel, this child over here is Frisk." Frisk smiled as they were introduced. "And this-"

"i'm sans. sans the skeleton."

He brought out his bony hand. "c'mon kid, shake my hand. don't you know how to greet a new friend." I smiled and grabbed his hand, only to hear a farting noise. Toriel smiled and shook her head, while Frisk simply giggled. I blushed as I brought my hand back from the chuckling skeleton. "heh, the old whopee cushion trick. never gets old. anyway, you haven't told us your name yet." I facepalmed, how stupid of me to not tell my name yet. "The name's (Y/N), very 'ice' to meet you." Sans and Toriel chuckled, seemingly applauding my pun. I was known in the surface for being "The Pun and Joke Master", with all my puns, jokes and whatnot. "Haha, that was good, my child." Toriel praised me, but Frisk just smiled at this. "kid, you seem like a very 'punny' person." I laughed at his pun, and as they helped me out of the place called the "Ruins", we kept on cracking jokes, and that's when we all ended up in Sans' home, Snowdin. "I better go home with Frisk," Toriel told us with Frisk still holding her hand like a mother would. "that's alright, tori. i was just about to show (y/n) our house anyway." I winked and shrugged for just one more pun before she left. "Guess we better... 'ketchup' later." They all laughed, before Toriel and Frisk left. "kid, i like you. you are one of a kind pun master, same with me." I smiled, this is going to be one heck of a friendship and new life in the Underground, with Sans, his brother, Papyrus and their friends.
