Long ago, in a kingdom far away, lived a small family of three. The mother, a beautiful woman named Sarah, was blessed with a son, whom she named Charles. His father, a handsome man named Brian, was an alchemist of the king. Sarah herself was a servant in the castle. They lived good and got on with everyone wonderfully. Charles had many friends growing up until he was eight years old. On his eighth birthday, he found he could read minds. He didn't mean to and he practiced on keeping to himself. He learned how to control it and never told anyone but his mother. She loved him regardless and promised not to tell anyone. Nobody found out and soon, ten years had passed. He had gotten a job as the servant of the King himself. The two grew close and the King trusted Charles with his life. Three years later, the King and his knights went into battle. The knights returned, bloody but alive, but the King did not. In the midst of battle, there was a betrayal. One of the knights fought the King and slayed him. Charles, drowning in the grief of others and his own, wanted the knight executed. The other knights and the guards allowed it. One of the other knights proclaimed to have sat with the King in his dying moments. He said that the King knew he would die without an heir. He told the council the King wanted Charles to be King. He trusted that the servant would know how to rule after listening to the King's nightly speeches. Charles accepted and everyone cheered for him. Five years after his coronation, another battle began. This is the story of the two Kings whom decided what they needed to end everything.
