-=Chapter 7=- -=Goodbye Home Town

"Alright I'm done healing my wound. I kinda used up most of my mana, and my uniform is ripped." I patted the dirt off of my skirt.

"Um Rinkuta? Are you sure okay? You did got beat up real bad." said Mayu.

"Mmm? Oh I'm fine. I just used too much mana..." I looked down sad, remembering that I will have to transfer to a new school and a new town.

"You can tell me. It's okay, I'll believe you." Mayu placed her hand on my shoulder and smiled.

"It's just...I'm a wizard, my family has been wizards for generations. I didn't know that I had magic in me until yesterday when discovered it myself. I will have to be moving away to learn how to control my magic energy. I will train to become strong, and I will protect you." I looked straight at Mayu's eyes, her eye color is light brown. I put on a confident face. "I'm sorry."

"Really?! That's great! You can learn a whole lot more than just staying here barely doing anything. I'm not trying to kick you out of here, I just want you to experience something new! Maybe we can talk to each other on the phone or something." Mayu smiles.

"I thought you would hate me because I would be leaving you." I had a surprise face.

"Well, I'll be sad, but I'll remember that you come to talk to me everything. Right?"

"Right!" Mayu and I smiled together.

Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong. The school bell rang to go to our 5th period classroom.

"Oh! The school bell rang! I need to change my uniform! You go on ahead to class, I need to go to the girls locker room to change into my gym uniform." I pointed to the gym.

"No, I'm going to be with you. I don't care if we get to class a little late."

"Are you sure? Okay then" Mayu and I started to run to the gym happily.

-=A Week Later=-

-------------------------------

Mom, Dad, Momo, and Mayu are outside of my house waiting for my ride to go to Mana Academy. My Dad has my bags outside, my Mom gave me her homemade lunch. Momo gave me her picture she made for me. And Mayu gave me a homemade scrapbook of both of us since we were little kids.

"Is this everything?" said Dad wiping his sweat from his forehead.

"I believe so..." I took out my phone from my pocket to check the time. It is 10 in Sunday morning.

"Oh! Rinkuta! Your ride is here!" said Mom, pointing at the black limousine. It looks so fancy, way to fancy!

"What! That's my ride! No way!" Mayu and I had our mouths wide open, I wasn't expecting this one bit!

A women came out of the limo, she had her hair in a curly pony tail, and was wearing a special uniform.

"Fujioka-sensei?! What are you doing here?!" Mayu and I asked.

Momo stares at the at the limo happily.

"Onii-chan! I can see my reflection!" said Momoka.

"Yes, I am Emi Fujioka. I am your counselor from Mana Academy. I was once your homeroom teacher, but I was just playing my role. Oh hello Oshiro-san. Wait why is she here?!" Fujioka-sensei was very surprised to see Mayu here with us, since she's just a normal person.

"I know what's going on, I won't tell a soul about you guys." Mayu tried to ease with Fujioka-sensei.

"Is that so... all right then... Yukimura-san, are you ready?" Fujioka-sensei claps her hands happily.

"Oh um..." I see my dad putting my luggage in the limousine, I don't know if I'm ready to leave my home. Like what if the students don't like me? What if I can't do magic correctly?

Fujioka-sensei looks at me and smiles.

"Yukimura-san? Do you want to leave?"

Do I want to go and leave my best friend and my family behind? No, I do want to leave and learn how to control and use my magic. And what if I see a cute guy there, and we fell in love with each other and have a happy ending. Nah, like that will happen. But I do need to become stronger, and quick.

"I'm ready." I put on a confidence face. "Bye Mom! Bye Dad! Bye Momo, See ya Mayu. I'll call you guys when I'm free!" I jumped in the limo smiling. I'm nervous, yet I want to see my new school.

Once when my family and Mayu couldn't see the limo anymore when we had left, my dad had remembered something.

"Oh! I had forgotten to tell Rinku that she'll be able to see Souta in Mana Academy... Oh well..." Dad walks away from the front yard.
