I opened my closet to see what to wear. Okay, so what to wear, what to wear. I picked up a white polo shirt with a purple skirt. I picked up some comfy shoes for me to walk to the arcade. I did my hair into two pony tails and left my room. I see Souta tying his shoe.
"Souta, I'm ready." I said.
"Okay, let's go." Souta opened the exit door and let me go first.
We walked down the street and something caught my eye. I stopped and walked to the object.
"Rin, what are you doing?" said Souta.
I picked up a black cat with bright blue eyes.
"This cat reminds me of you Souta! 'Cause of your blue eyes!" I showed Souta the cat.
Souta started to blush.
"W-What? This cat reminds me of your father." said Souta nervously.
"What? How so?" I pulled the cat towards me.
"Well when the cat is with you, he's happy and his eyes sparkle. And when the cat is with me, he looks away. Your dad does that, he loves being with you, but ignores me."
"Really?" I looked at the cat and he's smiling and happy. "Aww! Your so cute!" I hugged the cat, the cat is extremely adorable.
Souta started to blush, thinking that the cat was really him.
"Let's go to the arcade before it gets too late." Souta said.
"Okay." I put the cat down on it's little paws. "Bye bye kitty!" Souta and I continued walking to the arcade.

When I entered to the arcade, it felt like I was in a whole other world. This arcade is like no other. This arcade is so high tech, like we have to use our magic energy.
"Whoa!This place looks so cool!" I looked at the games, many people were playing.
"This arcade is like training, but we have fun. Like this game." Souta walked to a machine. "This game tells us how powerful is our magic energy is. Watch let me show you." Souta put in his money in the machine.
"How powerful are you?!" said the machine.
Souta created his wand and used his lighting on the target. The machine rises it's arrow to say how powerful he is. It went to forcible, which is high.
"See! It tells you how strong your magic is! Why won't you give it a try." Souta moved aside for me to try.
"Y-you sure?" I said nervously.
"Yea! Go ahead!" Souta put in the coin in the machine.
"How powerful are you?!" said the machine.
I stand in front of the machine and created my wand. I concentrated my magic for a short time and aimed at the machine.
"Now!" I used my magic and hit the target with my ice. The arrow went high up and started to flicker. I stand back from all the craziness from the machine. The arrow was very high, up to extreme powerful.
Souta's mouth dropped of what the machine said. People were circling me around impressed by my power.
"Um, uh..." I don't like it when people stare at me, it makes me uncomfortable.
"R-Rin, what kind of magic do you have? That was awesome!" Souta gave me a big hug, which made me blush, but that hug made me feel it was right to hug him back.
I end up hugging him too and then we smiled. The people in the arcade were cheering for me. The people who work in the arcade came by and saw the machine.
"What the heck happened here? Who made it to extreme?" said the man around his 20's.
"I-I did..." I mumbled.
You? Ha! You're so tiny and look weak! There's no way that you have that much of great power!" the man started to laugh.
Souta got really mad that he wanted to punch the man, but couldn't. I stood up, correctly, I stepped up and looked at the man with a straight face.
"Yes, I did." I said.
"Oh, you're trying to be tough huh! Wanna try to fight me?" the man smirked.
"Rin! You know you shouldn't be fighting!" said Souta.
"I don't care. I wan't to find out if I do have that kind of power."

"Okay! Now you have to use your energy and strike down this target!" said the man. "You up to it?"
I looked at my wand in my hand, I should prove to Souta that I can fight and protect myself. I tied my hair into a pony tail and smiled.
"I'm ready!"
"Alright then, I'm first!" The man pushed me out of the way and concentrated his energy on the target. Wind came brushing in hit the target. The arrow went up to Powerful. "I bet your energy didn't even go to extreme, probably you did something." smirked the man.
"Shut it old man" I said.
The man and Souta looked at me with a surprised look. I aimed at the target and about to hit it with all my energy. A Yokai broke the ceiling and destroyed the machine that I was about to hit. The Yokai looked big and started attacking people. The people are running away, the man stood there frozen with fear.
"Run!" I yelled to the man. The man fell and the Yokai went after to him.
"Ahhhhh!"
A gust of wind came in as soon I ran to the man to protect him. I have two ice swords in my hand, blacking the Yokai from the man.
"Yuki!" Yuki appeared out of thin air. "Protect this man!" Yuki did what she was told, and created an ice barrier. "Souta! Protect the people who are still in the building! I got this!" I jumped and attacked the Yokai.
"Rin! Don't! Your gonna end up killing yourself!" yelled Souta.
I looked at Souta, he looks very worried. I smiled.
"Then why not help me?" I shouted as I attack the Yokai.
Souta smiled and attacked the Yokai with me with his lightning from his hands. He had created some kind of gloves to attack Yokai. We both attacked the Yokai together, and combined out magic together and pured the Yokai. I landed on my feet and looked at the particles. Yuki broke the barrier and flew to me.
"You did it!" smiled Yuki.
"Hey, um..." The man came walking to me nervously."Th-Thanking you for saving me. I'm sorry for disbelieving you that you aren't strong. But from my eyes, you are very powerful!"
I gave him a smile.
"No problem. Oh! I'm sorry for the destruction of your building. I don't know why but for some reason, I couldn't since the negative energy from the Yokai." I said.
"No! It's fine! I've been planning to remodel my arcade."

Souta and I walked together to my dorm, we both laugh and smile brightly to each other.
"Rin?" said Souta.
"What would you do if I...I think of you more than a friend?" asked Souta while blushing.
"Hmm? You mean best friends?" I said.
"Gah!" Souta froze and got depressed. "N-No, that's not what I meant. I mean more than that!"
"What do you mean then?" I asked.
"I mean as lovers!" yelled Souta. Souta blushed and covered his face.
I blushed, my heart pounded hard.
"L-L-Lovers!" I backed away.
"I'm just saying! Y-You don't have to answer me. It's nothing. Look, your dorm! Got to go! Bye!" Souta ran off with lightning speed.
I walked into my dorm with a red face.
"Hi Yukimura-san! What's wrong?" asked Naomi.
"N-Nothing..." I took a deep breath. "So what's for dinner?"

"Master, looks like she hasn't noticed us just yet. But her magic is increasing 3x the amount of what we predicted." said a girl with pink hair put in twin tails, wearing black and purple clothing.
"Distract her again, but this time, fight with her." said a man's voice over the girl's earphone. "Got that, Yuri."
"Yes master." The girl smirked and disappeared.
