A New Friend

After that date, I'm in my room cleaning and decorating my room. I put up my stuffed toys on my shelf on my wall, and I unpacked the rest of my stuff. I layed down on my bed when I finished adding the stuff in my room, thinking about the date. I looked at both of my hands because Haru and Souta held my hand, and I touched my cheek from that kiss.
"Gah! I can't! It's too much! I can't hold it in!" I blushing brightly and started rolling on my bed back and forth. I started squealing on my pillow.
I heard something out of my window, sounds like someone is knocking on the window. I looked up from my bed, and I see someone came in with red hair.
"Haru..." I said.
"Yukimura-san. I need to tell you somethi-" Haru remembered about the kiss and started to blush. "Um, ah.. Um... What I'm trying to say is that...I'm sorry for that kiss..." Haru bowed down.
"N-No! It's alright! You were about to help me to remove the ice cream off of my face..." I said.
Silence entered the room, we didn't say anything for at least a minute long.
"So um...If you need any help, come to me, don't go to Souta." said Haru as he was about to jump out of the window.
"What? W-Wait!" I got up so I can reach out for his arm to stop him from leaving, but then I tripped over one of my large textbooks. As I was falling, I had a feeling that I will hit my head, and embarrass myself in front of Haru. I closed my eyes as I was about to hit the ground but then Haru held me close.
"Hey, Yukimura-san, be careful."
"Ah..y-yes, thank you..."
We both stared at each other in the eyes. Haru has greenish brownish eyes, Haru eye's looks angry and sorrow.
"Ah, um Y-Yukimura...? You're too close to my face." Haru said nervously.
My face is super close to his face. I backed up and pushed Haru away from me.
"I-I'm sorry. It's just your eyes..." I rubbed my arm as I looked down.
"My eyes? What?
"N-Nothing! Hey um, Haru? Can I ask you something?" I asked.
"Sure go ahead." Haru sits down on my floor and crossed his legs.
"Why is it you and Souta always fight? You don't have to tell me if you want you." I picked up the book where I tripped from and put it on my study desk.
"Souta and I don't really get along well because...Ever since when we were kids, Souta will always be surrounded with people because he has lightning energy, which is rare now days. Everybody always talks to him and he has a great time." Haru said angrily.
I had never thought that Souta is that popular with people, he was always a troublemaker who will never do his work at school. Souta has change. And Haru just wants to be like Souta, I believe that people really doesn't hang out with him because of the way he acts, he gets mad, but in the inside, he's nice, but just stubborn.
"So you just want to have friends right?!" I said to Haru.
"Friends? But whenever I make friends, they just want to hang out with Souta and leaves me alone with no one." Said Haru.
"But I'm your friend, I won't leave you." I gave Haru a smile.
"You? My friend? You don't mind?" Haru puts on a surprise face.
"I don't mind at all! I do whatever I can to make you smile and not make you sad!" I said happily.
"Th-Thanks...Rinkuta..." Haru scratches his head while blushing.
"You said my first name..." I blushed and cover my face.
"Is it wrong for me to call you your first name?" Haru said.
"No, it's fine. I'm not used to you saying my first name..." I uncovered my face. "But I'm happy that we've became closer friends, Haru!" I gave Haru a smile.
Haru and I smiled at each other happily, until I hear my cellphone ringing. Haru started freaking out quietly. I grabbed my phone and told Haru to be quiet. I answered the phone:
"Hello?" I said.
"Onii-chan!" said Momoka.
"Momo! How are you! Hows school?" I asked.
"I'm doing good! I told my friends that you moved away because your a wizard!" Said Momoka happily.
"Ah...You did what!" I started to freak out.
"Yes, she did, and now her friends are pretending to be wizards now." said my mom
"Mom!" I said in a surprised yet happy way.
"Hi dear, hows school?" asked my mom.
"Good! I'm trying my very best to succeed and not to fall in sleep in class anymore."
"That's good, have you made friends?"
"Yes! Plenty!" I looked at Haru. "I have a friend here with me." I gave Haru a look to say hi to my mom.
"H-Hello Mrs. Yukimura" Said Haru nervously.
"Oh my! A young boy is with Rin!"
All you can hear through the phone is loud footsteps coming to the phone.
"What boy?!" yelled my dad.
Haru became very quiet.
"Hello boy, what's your name?" My dad sounded mad.
"M-my name is Haru Ka-kasai sir..."
"Oh, I see, you're from the the Kasai family, the Yukimura family and the Kasai family don't really get along with each other. SO DON'T LAY A FINGER ON MY DAUGHTER! GOT THAT!" My dad started to yell.
"Daddy! Calm down! You're scaring Onii-chan's boyfriend!" Shouted Momoka.
Haru and I started to blush brightly.
"BOYFRIEND! HONEY! IT'S TIME TO MOVE BACK TO MANA TOWN! NOW!" yelled my dad.
"Dad! No! He's not my boyfriend! He's my friend, who's a boy! So calm down!" I explained to my father.
"Mr. Yukimura, we are not dating I can tell you for sure..." Haru explained himself as well.
"Hmm...Are you sure?" said my dad not believing Haru.
"Yes sir." said Haru.
"Hmmm, I still don't trust you. Oh Rin! Mayu send you something in the mail. You'll probably get the package tomorrow." Dad changed his tone when he spoke to me.
"Okay! Tell her thank you!" I said.
"Okay, we better go now, bye Rin!" Said my mom.
"Bye Onii-chan! Bye Onii-chan's boyfriend!" said Momoka.
"So he is your boyfriend! Har-" I hanged up when my dad started to talk.
We both sigh from talking to my parents.
"I'm sorry about my parents...and about my sister..." I said nervously.
"N-No, It's fine. I can't believe your younger sister believes that we are dating, hahaha" Haru started to laugh, but it sounds a bit fake.
"Yea, my sister gets the wrong idea at times, hehe."
Silence came into my room.
"H-Haru?" My heart started to beat fast. My heart aches, it hurts.
"Hmm?"
"Do you have anybody who you, um..Li-" I got interrupted by Souta as he charged into my room.
"Haru! Are you here!?" Souta turns around and sees Haru sitting next to me. "Haru, you son of a-"
"Souta! It's okay!" I jumped in front of Souta. "We were just talking."
"...Okay What were you guys talking about?" said Souta.
"Um..." I blushed of remembering what I was about to say.
"Rin? What were you talking about?" repeated Souta.
"We just talked for a little bit. Thanks R-Rinkuta. For being my friend." Haru walked out of my room, I can feel him smiling.
"Yup! Bye Haru!" I saw him leaving, I felt weird around him just now.
"Rin?" Said Souta.
"Oh yea? What is it Souta?"
"...Want to go to the arcade with me?" Souta said smiling. "Like we did when we were kids?
It's been a long time since then. But this is short notice. I looked at Souta, he's smiling brightly.
"Sure! It's been a while! Let me get change, so please get out." I pushed Souta out of my room.
"Okay okay, I'll be waiting downstairs in the living room." said Souta.
