somewhere we lost our connection,
we fell out of love just as fast as we had fallen in love,
I started to see your flaws,
I tried to look the other way,
I searched for all the reasons we were brought together to begin with,
But only found more reasons why we were drifting,
So far,
Far far away,
It became more apparent to me,
I begun to see you for you,
for what you really were,
Ugly.
Not in an evident way, the kind that even money couldn't eradicate,
You were volatile underneath,
And I thought to myself how could I ever love a person that lacks compassion and empathy?
From that day forward I knew I could never feel affectionate towards you,
In fact, from that day forward I felt the complete opposite,
I hated you.
