To say that she was mercilessly tortured would have been an understatement.
The Manor was filled with bloodcurdling screams and heart wrenching sobs for several hours a day during Eliza's abduction.
The inhabitants of the large house left often, so as not to hear the terrible sounds coming from one of the smaller spare rooms.
When the house was quiet, the Snape wife was thrown into the dungeons with Ollivander. When she first encountered him, they reminisced about her wand and the talents that it had provided her with.
When the Dark Lord would send for her, she always say; "If I don't return this time, it was lovely knowing you, Mr. Ollivander."
And every night, she would return to the dark dungeons and sit with the elderly man as they feasted on the small piece of bread the Deatheaters would feed them.
Sometimes, Narcissa or Juliet would sneak them some proper food, leftovers from their supper that night.
The woman was quite lovely, as was her future daughter-in-law.
I'll have to thank them if I ever get out of this hellhole. She thought to herself.
One day was different, a small blonde girl was thrown into the dungeons.
It was Luna Lovegood!
"Merlin, child, what on earth are you doing here?" Eliza asked, worry filling her eyes and voice.
Luna shrugged and offered her teacher a small smile. "They want my father to tell them where Harry is. Thing is, he doesn't know."
The Potions' Mistress looked down, green eyes filling with tears. "I'm so sorry you had to be dragged into this."
"It's not your fault." The strange girl said dreamily. "I made the decision to go back to Hogwarts during the war, fully knowing the dangers."
Eliza looked away, towards the wall. She couldn't face the young girl. She was only 16. Still a child, how was this fair?
"Professor," Luna said calmly. "This isn't your fault."
I'm the darkness of the dungeon, the girl couldn't see her teacher's tears sliding down her cheeks.
The door opened once again and Pettigrew stuck his mousy head through the opening.
"Master has called for you again, Barron." He all but squeaked.
The Slytherin woman stood up straight and rolled her eyes. "That's Professor Snape to you, Wormtail." She turned around and smiled to her so called "cell-mate"; "It was lovely knowing you, Mr. Ollivander."
When she left the room, the Ravenclaw turned to the wand maker.
"Mr. Ollivander, wherever is she going?"
The innocence she portrayed broke the old man's heart.
"You see in a moment."
His words were promptly followed by a terrible scream. Agonizing and horrifying.
"TELL ME WHERE HE IS!" The Dark Lord shouted, while holding her under the Cruciatus.
