~8 Years Later~

The new Potions' Mistress scrutinized the First Years before her.

She'd had the chance to meet the new students in her House the night prior, but the rest of them were new to her. Some of them she'd never before seen in her life.

She recognized a few from shopping trips in Diagon Alley, with their parents. A privilege she had never had, herself, and had now become bitter of the fact.

Otherwise, she was a charming lady, everyone thought so.

Perhaps that is why the headmistress had given her the post at such a young age. That and her exceeding talent in Potion-brewing. It seemed that she was born with the talent. From a very young age, she showed potential in the meticulous art.

Her professors always told her that her grandparents would have been proud.

She spotted three students whispering in the back and smirked, recognizing the girl and two boys.

"Ah, Mr. Potter," a shiver went down the children's backs as they looked up at the woman before them.

She was dressed in all black, her raven curls pinned carefully to keep them from getting in the way. There was something familiar about the way she stood. Similar to a painted portrait of a particular pair they'd encountered on their way to their dormitories the night before.

"Y-yes, Professor Snape?"Albus-Severus stuttered, swallowing nervously.

His father had told him about the family of his namesake. They were scary, but good hearted, and definitely not the kind to be trifled with.

Persephone's mint green eyes flashed dangerously. "Our latest celebrity."
