Sandeul's POV
*Flashback*
"So you dreamed about her again?" CNU Hyung asked while he was munching down on his chips. "Yes, hyung. I dream about her every day and it's driving me insane! I don't even know her!" I remember every single detail about her. She was definitely beautiful. She had white porcelain skin, light brown hair, the sweetest brown eyes, and kissable pink lips. She spoke but I could never hear her voice. Tonight, I saw her crying. I don't know why, but I really wanted to comfort her.
I let out a heavy sigh and Baro patted my head. "Maybe it's your future girlfriend or something!" He said sarcastically. "Ooohh~" The room echoed. What? We were 13 year old boys. We could get lucky if a girl liked us. Well...maybe it was just me. Hyungs already had girlfriends. Gongchan did too! But me? I was flying solo. I happen to be one of those nerdy boys who cared about school and not about girls. I was taught that they came second and ruined your life. Props to my dad~ "Ew, no. I'm already in a relationship with algebra! I'll never cheat on her!" *Insert dramatic face here*
"I have an idea!" Gongchan pumped his fist in the air who hit Baro's eye. He glared at him while Gongchan eye smiled at him. Baro looked away, which must mean Channie's forgiven. "What is it, Channie?" Jinyoung asked. "If Sandeul hyung can't find a girl descent enough, why doesn't he write a message in a bottle?" There was an awkward silence while everyone blinked at him. "What?" "Where did you get this idea?" CNU spoke up. "Have you been watching soap operas again?" Baro questioned. "Channie put both hands on his hips. "No, I must let you know that I read my sister's romance novels. It's quite interesting!"
Awkward silence. Gongchan continued. "Come on, it's fun! You'll meet someone different!" I realized I hae been so quiet ever since he brought this up, so I'm going to speak now. "Channie, What if it's not a girl who recieves it? What if I never meet them?" He pouted. "Trust me hyung. I've read this somewhere in the internet and one of them even got married!"
"Ya, Gongchan, you're too young to think about marriage!" Jinyoung gently whacked his head. Gongchan rubbed the back of his head. "What do you think of my idea, CNU hyung?" CNU took a sip of his soda and answered him. "I think it's a great idea." He asked the rest of the guys and they all said they agreed. I'm like the only person who disagrees.
"Do it, do it!" They chanted. Eventually, I got pushed into doing this. "Hand me a paper, pen, and a bottle."
I just wrote down the honest truth. "Dear stranger who recieves this. I don't know you, but whoever you are, and hopefully you are a girl, you are my soulmate. My friends forced me into doing this, but I am curious too. My name is Lee Junghwan by the way. I'm looking foreward to meeting you one day."
"Are you serious?" CNU sarcastically grimaced. "It's good enough hyung..." Jinyoung said inaudibly.
That same day, we went to Kwanghwa beach and approached the ocean.
"Are you sure I should do this?" I asked playing with they tightly closed bottle. "Definitely, hyung~" Gonchan put his arm around me. I took long breaths. I thought about it. Why was I so nervous? It's not like it's the girl in my dreams who's gonna be the one to recieve it. Or will she? Is this some kind of sign?
"Aish, throw it in the water before I throw you in! It's getting cold~" Baro said. I chuckled and then tossed it in the water. I heard it plop onto the surface and bobbed back up from a distance. In my head, I really wished it was the pretty girl in my dreams. I always saw her crying though.
"What do we do now?" I asked Gongchan
He smiled. "Now, we wait."
