It's Monday, September 5th and I'm totally  not in the mood to wake up right now. It's the first day of school and I'm not ready to go back to reality. I had the best summer of my life in Malibu. I was finally away from all the drama in Beacon Hills which includes my tiresome parents, my social life, training, preparations for the SAT, and especially my boyfriend Scott McCall.

Everyday in Malibu I would sit by the beach and stare at the ocean waves. I would be lost in my thoughts about life. But there was something but a matter of fact someone  who would help me get over these thoughts about my life and that was Sebastian. Sebastian Reed was this musician I met on the beach and ever since that day, I trusted him with everything. He was my shoulder when I was crying and depressed but now we're a thousand miles apart from each other and I need someone like him to help me. But here's the thing, there's no one that can ever replace Sebastian.

Realizing that I'll be late, I finally pushed myself to get out of bed and get ready. After all, it's the first day of my senior year. I undress myself and pick out a black skirt from American Apparel,  a red Gryffindor sweater from Forever 21, some black boots, black tights,  and a black bow to fix my hair up. I grab my leather backpack and head downstairs to the kitchen to see my mom and dad sitting on the kitchen counter drinking their coffee while reading the newspaper.

"Good morning Melanie! Are you ready for your first day of senior year?" my mom said. " Well I guess so. I can't wait to meet up with the girls. I missed them so much this summer," I said. "But what about Scott?" my dad quickly replied. "Yeah him too," replying to try not to sound so unenthusiastic.

I quickly grab a mocha frap from the fridge and a crunch bar from the cabinet and kiss my parents goodbye. I needed to get out of that house as fast as I possibly could. I pulled out my car keys from my bag, opened the door to my black Corolla, and started to back out of the drive way. After a five minute drive I parked my car in the parking lot where I see Scott's green motorcycle.  "Here I go," I say and sigh getting out of my car, waiting to see what's to come.
