"So you kickin me out?" He said folding his arms.

"Yes! You need to leave! I'm done being apart of your bullshit, I told you that last year." I yelled.

"Come on Kay, I really need you right now." He said taking a seat putting his hands on his face.

"Kyle, I just can't help you." I started. "Ever since Riley died ..I just can't get back into that shit."

He stayed quiet, then started to nod his head. "Alright. I understand. How you been tho lil sis?"

"I've been fine .." I said frowning.

I just couldn't seem to place a smile on my face due to what happened two nights ago with August.

I've been ignoring his messages, calls, and everything. I'd be damned if he tried to play me as some fool.

"Who ass I gotta beat?" He said standing up on his feet.

"Nobody. I'm fine, seriously." I said calming him down.

"You know I missed you a lot?" I blurted.

No matter how many times my brother fucked up, I'll always love him because he's done so much for me growing up.

"I missed you too sis." He said pulling me into a hug.

He kissed my forehead and parted the hug. "But I gotta go."

I nodded as he placed his hands into his pockets. "Where yo bathroom at? I really gotta piss." He said.

"Down the hall to the left." I said going to the stove to start cooking breakfast.

"Aight." He said before walking away.

I went to the fridge and pulled out a carton of eggs, milk, butter, bacon, and cheese. Closing it back I went over to the cabinets and pulled out the pancake mix.

Watching the butter sizzle on the skillet, I heard Kyle's heavy footsteps.

"Oh shit make me a plate." He said rubbing his hands together.

"Boy bye. I just started cooking." I said while whisking the eggs.

He smacked his lips. "Aight whateva, I'm gone tho lil bit." He said going to the door.

"Bye be safe!" I yelled before I heard the door close.
