Everyone in their life has had that feeling of being "watched." People usually think they're just being paranoid, but are you really? What if there really is something watching you just a few feet away and you just can't see them? Peering at you and watching your every move. When you look outside and its dark but you have the lights on in your house and you can't see them but they can see you. Looking straight at them and you don't know it. You're locking eyes with each other but only one of you knows it. You can feel the stare but you tell yourself it's nothing. The times when you're laying in bed in your dark room, sleeping.
And you wake up suddenly from your sleep at the most random times. You look around your room and can feel that piercing stare from the unknown. That feeling that makes your skin crawl. What if there really is something there with you in your room? Maybe in your closet, peeking out only the slightest to gaze at you. Maybe under your bed like those cliché children's horror stories. You're too creeped out to look so you just fall back on your pillow and go back to sleep, not knowing that there may be something there watching you, maybe only a few inches away. When you listen to music and don't know what's going on around you. What if you're too distracted to realize there's something watching you? I'd pay more attention if I were you.
You know that feeling you get when you're going up the stairs? The overpowering feeling to just run because you feel as if someone is chasing after you? What if there really is something chasing you but when you look back they disappear and hide? The more you run the more they gain up on you. The more paranoid you get, the more they will consume you. They become your worst fears and soon take over your brain and thoughts. They become the center of your attention and you can't keep them away, now that you've let them in too deep. You soon become so paranoid, everything you do becomes a fear. Thinking they will never go away and they never do because paranoia never leaves as long as you keep it engraved in your mind.
