"The Hideaway. - Pt. 2" (filler)

          Kale's POV 

         After I stopped being a coward going over to Lizzie's house, just hugging her made me feel I was in the right place and at home than with my own mother. I didn't even want to let go of her, but her raunchy friend Ashley just had to ruin it. She was very accusing and disrespectful to me; she doesn't even know what I’m going through, so we surely cannot tell her about anything. It seems like Lizzie I’ve known her for a long time, because we became so close in such a short time, but I’m scared for her being involved with my life as werewolf.

         So anyway when we all decided to lay down for bed, I knew she was a tired as me, it was so late in the morning; I knew she wasn't going to let me sleep with her but I  wanted to I needed to be close to her like literally. What I really noticed about her tonight was very beautiful, especially with the redness on her cheeks when I looked at her, even though she looked first.

         She actually made my heart beat out the normalcy it already beats. When I was trying to lighten the mood or make Lizzie feel better by teasing her, Ashley got impatient so we stopped but I loved every second of it. The part I loved the most was when I took Lizzie’s hand and put it to mine, although hers was actually smaller than mine, it fit perfectly touching mine.

       After 7 a.m.

      While attempting to drift to sleep, everybody is sleeping but me so stretch and get up, but hesitantly while gazing at Lizzie sleeping soundly, I smile. So I gently rub her cheek with the back of my hand her face automatically warms up, and she smiled in her sleep; I decided the best way for me to sleep is to be in the bed next to her.

    So I slowly walk around to the other side and gently get onto the bed and lay beside her, on my side falling asleep easily. I guess sometimes we all just a warm body to make us feel at ease.

         Narrators’ POV

         After about 11 a.m. Ashley opens her eyes and stretching herself awake but realizes Lizzie isn't awake then yawns and realizes Kale has disappeared off the floor. She wakes up Lizzie by throwing her phone at her, and she startled, wakes up as well. Upon explaining to her Kale has disappeared, Lizzie panics, but unbeknownst to her he's behind her sleeping.

     Lizzie turns around because the feeling of breathing of neck tickles her, she attempts waking him up but he turns over and throws his arm on her chest.

      She tries to push it off, tickling him and her last attempt was to scoot from under his arm almost falling over. Kale awakens fast and catches her by the waist before she hits the floor, his wolf reflexes work even when he's half asleep.

"Thanks Kale." She says catching her breath from Kale being in her bed and that he caught her from falling yet again.

"You're welcome." he said half asleep and turns back over for sleep.

Lizzie looks perplexed at Ashley, and she smirks and shrugs.

"Kale, you do realize you're in my bed?" she asks poking his sides.

"Lizzie stop tickling me in my dream, I'm trying to sleep." he still speaks as if he's dreaming.

"Ahem", she says placing her hand on his arm shaking him awake, “Kale, please wake up, you're not dreaming.

    Once that happens Kale clears his throat and slowly turns around, opening his eyes then yawning. He then lays up leaning on his elbows, then scratching his neck.

"Morning sunshine." says Lizzie softening an awkward moment.

"I know you're probably wondering what I'm doing in your bed huh?" he chuckled, scratching his neck nervously.

"Ha ha, yeah." Lizzie says.

"Well I couldn't sleep so basically I-I needed to sleep beside—does that sound weird?" He asks biting his lower lip.

"Aw it's okay I guess that's very honest of you but please don't—not appropriate okay?" She says to him and he nods in agreement.

"Hi, sorry to interrupt this love fest of a moment, but Lizzie what are we going to do?” Ashley says sitting up now, “He can't stay here he's going to get us in big trouble if he doesn't leave you know?!"

"Yeah I know that Ash I'll figure something out—." She stops talking because she hears Kale snoring beside her so she elbows him slightly.

"I'm awake." He says after taking a 2 second nap.

"Not really. Did you just nod off?!" Liz says and he smiles slightly and she smirks at him.

"Pfft! No, I was just checking to see if my eyelids work and possibly being around you makes me sleep." He says honestly because he yawns then.

"You're a strange liar Kale. How bout we keep a safe distance so you can possibly stay awake." She says chuckling and shoving him slightly but he doesn't budge.

"Oh my Lizzie he's got to go--" Ashley stops as there's a knock on her door.

"Look Kale now you get to go under my bed now. Hide quickly."

      Lizzie tells Kale and he quickly goes on the side of the bed and Lizzie lays sprawled on the bed, leaning her chin on her hands. Ashley holds up her knees to her chest and the door opens as if in slow motion.

"Come in." Says Ashley nervously.

"Good morning girls." Lizzie's mom says happily smiling.

"Good morning mom, what's up?" Says Lizzie.

"Well if you didn't know there were cops outside the neighbors’ house last night and now Mrs. Spencer is looking for her son Kale. Have either of you seen him?" She asks waiting for reply and Lizzie replies.

"Oh you don't say mom. Well we saw the cops outside last night, but we slept early, so no we haven't seen him; he's probably a fugitive or something." Lizzie shrugs to her mom and glances over at Ash and she just nods in agreement.

"Okay then if you guys hear or see anything please let me know, his mom is really worried about his whereabouts. You girls should get up it’s almost the afternoon." Her mom says jokingly then leaves closing the door.

    After her mom leaves Kale gets up off the floor and lays on the bed right beside Lizzie purposely and Ashley just stared annoyed them both actually. She begins to get up and open the room door but Lizzie speaks.

"Excuse me where are you going?" Lizzie asks.

"Uh I'm going tell the truth because this has gotten out of hand." Ash says pointing at Kale and puts his head down on his hands.

"First of all you can't because you called the cops--"

    As Liz is saying this, Kale raises his head and quickly gets off the bed and walks toward Ashley and closes the door. She then backs against it while he's hovering in front of her.

"So you called the police on me?" He says in a growling voice then holding her arms down in case she tries to fight him away.
