I stare back at Mr. Alsina too shocked to move. He can't be here. He's not here. This has to be a dream or a nightmare. Of all people to see me at this low why did it have to be him?

"M-mr. Alsina?" I stutter.

"Hey, hands off the merchandise." Ronny says comming in between us. She puts her hand on top of his and tries to pry it open. He's grip is too strong. He glares at Ronny.

"This girl isn't merchandise. She's my student." Mr. Alsina says pulling me behind him. I stumble, not use to the heels I'm wearing. He's surprisingly strong.

"I thought you said you were eighteen." Ronny says looking at me.

I try to pull away from him, but he's not letting me go anytime soon. "I am. It's been a year since I stepped foot in a school." I try to explain to them both.

"And that's the first problem with this whole situation. What is an honor student doing suddenly dropping out? Decided to give up your future for a life on the streets?" Mr. Alsina says.

I glare back at him. "You don't know a damn thing about me."

I don't need him to tell me how far I've fallen. He doesn't know the choices I've had to make and the things I've had to do. It's not like I woke up one day and said I wanted to be a hoe. But I do what I have to to survive. He has no right to judge me.

"Sounds to me like she's a grown woman capable of making her own choice." Ronny says placing her hands on her hips.

"Is that so? Is this the choice you've decided to make? Are you going to sale yourself to the highest bidder?" Mr. Alsina said keeping his eyes on me.

I look away from him. I refuse to see the look of disappointment in his eyes. Out of all the people in my life he is the only one whose ever pushed me to do my best.

"Is there a problem here?"

I look up to see Guy walking over towards us. His face is grim and his eyes are locked on Mr. Alsina. He lifts up his shirt to reveal the gun he has hidden in the waistband of his hands. My eyes widen at the sight of it. My heart races as I shift into panic mood.

"N-no problem here. He was just leaving. Weren't you Mr. Alsina?" I say trying to pull away. The last thing I want is for him to get hurt because of me. I look up at him, pleading with my eyes for him to leave.

"I'm taking this girl with me." Mr. Alsina said. He stared unafraid at Guy.

Now I'm sure he's lost his marbles. As far as I could tell Mr. Alsina was completely unarmed. This wasn't a classroom and his stern angry face would not be enough to stop a bullet.

"Mr. Gross, please." I beg. I don't need his blood on my hands. It would be such a waste for a beautiful face like his to go to waste trying to save me.

"Yeah, Mr. Alsina. You better listen-" Guy said pulling out his gun, but before he can point it Mr Alsina steps forward and grabs the gun turning it back around on Guy. The move is done with such speed a precision that none of us realized what was happening until it was over.

"Shea is coming with me." Mr. Alsina said pointing the gun at Guy.

Guy's eyes widened.  He doesn't look so big and bad now. Guy held up his hands and took a step back. "Chile man. It's all good. You want the girl, take her. She wasn't even really with me."

Mr. Alsina glared at him a moment longer before he stared walking. His hand still held onto mine, pulling me down the street. I follow behind him still in shock. He leads me over to his car.

"Mr. Alsina?" I ask, but he doesn't answer. He turns back around to look at me. His eyes glance up and down my body. I pull at the hem of my dress feeling even more uncomfortable.

Mr. Alsina sighed and took off his jacket. He places it over my shoulder before opening the car door.

"Get in. I'm taking you home." Mr. Alsina says.

I look away from him. "I don't have a home."

So the whole hoe thing didn't work out but I still have problems to deal with. I need to figure out where my next meal is coming from and how I'm going to find it. I've already tried the shelter and those are a joke. I could always go rob a bank but that would probably get me put in jail. Then again at least they feed you in jail.

"It doesn't matter just get in. I'm not letting you stay out here." Mr. Alsina said.

"Mr. Alsina you don't-"

"This isn't an argument Shea. We can decide where to take you after we get on the road but I'm not leaving you in gang territory."

I frown. How does he know this is gang territory?

I'm about to say something when my stomach lets out a loud growl. I put my hand over my stomach feeling embraced. It's been three days since I've had a decent meal.

"Our first stop can be somewhere for you to eat." Mr. Alsina says.

I look at him and back at the open car door. My hunger out weighs my embarrassment and I get in the car.

Mr. Alsina closes the door behind me and walks over to the driver side. He starts the car and I feel my body relax against the seat warmers.

"Alright, first you eat and then your going to tell me how you ended up in this situation." Mr. Alsina says pulling off.

I groan. That story is one I'll never look forward to sharing.
