*Authors note- Sorry I took so long to update.... It was a combination of getting too busy and not knowing what to write next.*
Narrator
It had been 9 months since the wedding and Inuyasha still wouldn't let Kagome move very much.
"I don't see why I can't just go watch the fight." Kagome said, reiterating her earlier conversation with Inuyasha.
"Because," Inuyasha answered. "I'm not risking you or the baby getting hurt." That seemed to shut her up for the time being.
Ever since they found out she was pregnant 8 months ago, Inuyasha was a little too over protective for Kagome's taste. She didn't like needing to be taken care of by everyone.
"You'd be there to protect me though. I wouldn't be fighting anyways. Sango's the one attacking the demon. I couldn't get too hurt with you around. And it won't hurt the baby if I stand up and walk. I do remember how to stand."
"Half demon pregnancies are different than that of a human baby. If you disrupt the baby's sleep then he may end up seriously hurting you. You're almost there, Kagome. Just hold on for 1 more month.
Kagome sighed. "I guess. I'm sorry, Inuyasha. I just-" She trailed off and sighed again. There was a long silence. She changed from the sitting position she was originally in to a more relaxed position of laying on the floor. The half demon smiled softly at his impregnated wife. His family was coming together peacefully.
"Kagome, I get it." Inuyasha finally said sweetly. Kagome, fairly surprised at his response, looked up at her husband. "I get that it's hard. I know I'm a guy so I can't say I relate, but I know you can handle this."
Kagome stared into Inuyasha's eyes with a sudden look of understanding and love. "What makes you so sure that I can do this?"
"Because you're you. You have more courage and willpower than any other person I've met. You have a caring heart and your love for people is unconditional and real." She looked back at him with tears in her eyes. She sat up slowly making sure not to hurt the baby inside her. She slowly moved forward and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"I love you." She said through her many tears. "And I always will."
